A Mother's Plea to God
A Mother's Plea to God
A nightmare wakes her up in the night
The weeping of her child makes her walk down the corridors
She reached to the cradle
Where she flash her baby lying down
She cried but nobody's there in the town
She started and stood helpless
Then calmly she reached near her child
A freezing hand caught her by
Cold blood passed through her nerves
And her heart sits still
Atlas what could a helpless woman do
Nothing but mourns
Mourns for her lost child
So gently so softly she handed her baby to the almighty
With flooded tears and the blooded heart
The sky dark and the air damp
Then she read the night sky
The stars and planets opine that
Her child would be safe there
Guarded by the strongest arms
Grazed by the god mother
With a painful smile and a obese heart
She kissed him by his eyes
And waved him forever Goodbye.....
