A Mirror Of Memories
A Mirror Of Memories
Lo, I said at the very thought of this word called love,
So familiar yet so elusive.
Catching its essence in every bit of my existence,
Its long forgotten fragrance I reminisced, then breathed on its lingerness,
Jumbled traces of its intimacies now caressed my soul in a beautiful balminess.
And I looked at myself in sheer shyness,
In a craving gaze, deeply longing to relive this love again.
Such is the reflection of this passion,
On the mirror of memories,
A resplendence that brightens the inner darkness,
That glimmers my blown out soul,
And then, I shine like a star,
One that is born out of a supernova,
Of intense emotional ardor,
To glow like this, for eternal perpetuality.
