Known, but in a little span of time,
Relished the hidden desire of mine.
In denial of attraction or affection,
Since then, caught my once naive attention.

Though fortunately or the contrast,
Infatuation never lasts.
Agony shouldn’t be prolonged,
Nor to you, am I belong.

Pretend, as if ‘twas a dream,
How fascinating it might seem.
In time, reality will bite,
Leaving what will fright.

Less talk, less mistakes,
In life that is full of stake.
Pull the strings or keep it low,
Eventually, the truth will show.

But until then, silence will prevail,
Adamant of the fate to trail.
So long, my beloved,
In a novel that never started.

Let me lie in the furthest memory,
In line with the tragic, grievance and unhappy,
Oh, Romeo, the protagonist of my story.
