A Journey To The Mountains
A Journey To The Mountains
Horizon meeting the highways;
On a road of green leaves spread ahead,
I remember, walking beside the boulevard in delight.
The shadows of trees shading my incarnate,
While winds cooling my breath,
I came across the ravines so deep,
Where the mighty gorges refracted their beauty.
I heard birds chirping in rejoice,
At the sight of such an astounding vision.
Sun sparkling its glare everywhere,
It was a day of joy shinning there.
I reached near the canyons so high,
And found myself surrounded between magnificent arena of mountain chains.
The curvature of that Peak! Breaking the Cloud streaks and reaching the Skies,
Oh! What a beauty those Mountains Behold!
Summit covered with carpets of lavender-rosemary;
Spread their aroma all around in a wide stretch.
As I wandered further on those roads filled with curiosity,
My eyes caught glimpse of a lake that owned divine placidity.
Sun rays falling on surface water, shimmering like diamonds stacked in pearls.
Water in the lake rippled along with wind,
the sight of which was so sublime.
Atmosphere filled with the fragrance of blooming beauties,
Adorned the view of mountains into a huge ring of garland.
