A Game Of Thorns
A Game Of Thorns
I was quite confident
Until the end,
My curiosity was not piqued,
I had never self-questioned,
Not self-doubted,
My innocent mind had collaborated with peace,
My heart had allied with love,
But, time raised the curtain of lie,
And it was all a game of thorns,
Carefully pricked me
And my emotions.
Carelessly, I took a rattle
To turn it into a rattle show.
To splash a smile
May be just for a second,
Being self-contained,
Amidst the cacophony of tears and pain.
