A friend lost

I thought you were my friend

The best one I ever had

But I soon found out the reality

And the reality was bitter.

We still know each other

But from endless words

Our friendship went to no words

Were we really once inseparable?

I don't know

But I do know that

We shared a bond 

Hard to break

We were besties

Or at least that's what I thought

Maybe I was not a great friend

Months have passed 

Since our friendship has ended

Yet I still don't know why?
