A Creature Of Night

Broken I was,

Made up of chaos,

Darkness gave me peace,

With my friend silence,

My guardian sky,

Best friend stars and city lights,

Lonely in this world,

A creature of the night,

Blinded by the light,

Pain became a part of me,

Happiness something found rarely,

I was fading away with time slowly

Falling down sinking as deep as I can,

But somehow suddenly,

To befriend my demons I had learnt,

A creature of the night,

Blinded by the light,

Neither the prey nor predator,

Just a silent passing stranger,

With two shiny eyes,

Which had lonelily cried,

With pain hidden behind a smile,

I'm just a creature of the night,

Blinded by the light.
