- Humans Or Animals Love Have No Boundaries..

As a daily routine, one day mom went to feed neighbour cows.

On the way, crossing our mango orchard, she found a kitten weeping.

She stopped for a while and tried to figure out for kittens mother cat but no one was there.

She gave a small piece of chapatti and went to feed cow, while returning she found the kitten still there.

The same situation repeated the other day as well. On fourth day she intentionally carried one chapatti for kitten. By that time he also became familiar of the routine of mom and while returning he followed mom to home. However, due to some superstitions, he was forced to leave back to the orchards but being so small and unaware he started coming home every day from the gate at back side of the house.

His innocent face and sweet smile melted mine and my sisters heart and all others at home.

After efforts of several days we managed to convince our family to nurture him but strictly not in house and allowed only outside lawn.

Now, a big question arises that is safety of kitten from our pet dog Dompy who was a cross Pomeranian and mischievous.

Meanwhile, we named little kitten as “kittu”.

Slowly, Kittu started recognising his name and became familiar with everyone.

He was given his utensils in lawn itself and he discovered a safe place to sleep inside shoe rack in porch. He used to come late night when no one can see him.

Dompy on the other end was quite hurt and full of anger after observing his diluted love and affection from family members. To add on cherry to his problems, Kittu used to tease him by coming to porch in day time and stealing his food.

Tom and Jerry show started then and this time it was between a dog and a cat.

One year passed and Kittu became part of family.

One day, I reached home & saw Kittu injured, I inquired and came to know that not only in humans, in fact in animals also there is a barrier and rules to live. Kittu was a wild kitten and living so closely with humans that was disliked by other wild cats. Even his mother left him alone when he was few days old and all of them started harming him. Kittu was quite young and incapable to fight with big wild cats.

It continued n they attacked Kittu many a times and even after medicines Kittu was unable to recover. The jealousy and hatred of others was affecting him every day and his health deteriorated every single day. One day he left home and didn’t come back, we hunted aggressively but could not found him and came to know that Kittu was found dead near forest. He was suffering from the wounds and infections.

More than that the mental wounds and pain he got from others and this physical and mental torture took his life.

Though he spend a very short period with me, he left his indispensable impressions on my heart and all superstitious thoughts and belief about cats washed away forever.
