'Grass Isn'T Always Greener On The Other Side'
'Grass Isn'T Always Greener On The Other Side'
Tall pants with Short pants hoisted over, gazed over the fence;
Cows mooed, hens cooed, ducks quacked ladling by—
All seemed peaceful and a world of delightful discoveries loomed, hence,
Tall pants thumbs—upped Short pants and Lo!
They were spellbound...
Mom crane spearheaded her baby cranes with a beautiful flourish
The young ones scarcely opened their eyes to see Tall pants and Short pants,
The toad croaked its deep voice, getting ready to set up its snare;
Short pants led Tall pants to caress the cobbly-wobbly lil things
But Alas! There came a sudden rumble of noise—
Short pants scrambled behind Tall pants and peered from between;
'You gotta work in this farm under me, boys,'
Shouted Thick Stocky pants, 'Else don't go meddling with my beauties!'
Off scooted Tall pants dragging along Short pants to their Old Heaven,
Now don't say, 'Grass is always greener on the Other Side!'
