The Seed of Hope
The Seed of Hope
A child is like a seed of hope,
A promise of a future, with endless scope,
A delicate blossom, that needs to be nurtured,
And a precious gem, that must be treasured.
It's like a bird, that needs to fly,
And a flower, that needs to reach the sky,
It's a dream, that must be realized,
And a hope, that must be prioritized.
A child has the right to love and care,
To be protected, from harm and despair,
To be educated, and given a chance,
To grow and blossom, in a world of abundance.
It's like a river, that needs to flow,
And a tree, that needs to grow,
It's a ray of sunshine, in a world of dark,
And a flame of hope, in a world so stark.
A child has the right to freedom and play,
To be heard, and have their say,
To be sheltered, and kept safe and warm,
And to be given a chance, to transform.
It's like a diamond, that needs to shine,
And a star, that needs to align,
It's a gift, that we must cherish and protect,
And a responsibility, that we must not neglect.
For a child is the seed of hope,
The promise of a future, with endless scope,
A precious gem, that must be treasured,
And a delicate blossom, that needs to be nurtured.
