There was a time when I was in middle school.
I had many friends but there were few,
With whom I shared my heart out.
When I moved to high school,
I had many friends but I knew no one,
Who could be trusted upon?
When I was in college,
I had many friends but,
There was only one, who really cared for me.
When I got a job,
There was no one in the workplace,
To whom I could happily talk to.
It was then I understood,
The younger you are,
The better is your friendship.
People are purer by their heart and soul,
When they are small, above all meanness.
And so genuine is there innocent friendship.
