What Is My Mistake?

Is being a girl really a sin?

If not then why have you thrown me like Waste in a bin,

No education for me -

Gosh, you think the country would develop.

Or do you expect me to stay in a corner just like the paper in the envelope?

Is there no one who would Heal my pain;

Even after craving for, Mercy why my efforts go in vain?

Why so much injustice done to me just because I am a girl?

What is my fault what is my mistake?

Why my tears are always considered as fake?

One side I am being worshiped and Other Side being raped;

Have you ever wondered in which direction is this country shaped?

Do you think that candle March will solve all the problems;

Have you ever thought of that girl whose life has been shattered?

How long you will store me in a small hut?

How long will you keep my mouth shut?

How long will you suppress my voice?

How long will you consider my request as a noise?

In the end, I would like to question once again?

By this barbarity what would you gain?
