Let me be the stone

You always craved for

Earlier, I used to be myself

But you always wanted perfection

The perfection that lies in a stone.

I tried to be perfect, the way I am

But, I stood no where

In comparison to your perfect stone.

I build some part of mine

As per your stone

Just like stones are variously colored,

I had various moods

But, I m sorry

Because I couldn't build myself as a stone
