I know the story,

But I still prefer to read the book again

Because I got a chance

To relive some moments.....

Some moments when I blushed

As if it's my story only

Some moments when I cried

As if it's my struggle only

Some moments when I laughed

As if I was kidding only

I got a chance

To notice some characters......

Some characters related to me

Some characters whom I missed

In a race to read it first

Some characters I forgot to mention

While mentioning others

I got a chance

To feel the emotions.......

Emotions with whom I was carried away

Emotions that stole my sleep

Emotions I ignored once

Thinking it's unnecessary

I got a chance 

To look into some memories.....

Some memories gave by that story

Some memories my hormones were a part of

Some memories don't let me feel bad

I got a chance

To imagine.....

To Imagine that same would happen to me

To Imagine that what would I have done

If I would be there

To Imagine the same I had done years ago

I got a chance

To be that teenage kid .....

The kid who was once careless 

The innocent kid 

To believe that story a real one

The kid for whom it's hard

To get that out of her mind

I avoided some chapters 

Which taught me a lot

But, now

Some lessons I took again

I know the story,

But I still prefer to read the book again
