Incantations In Love

Incantations In Love

When I kiss you, my love,

I'll kiss you with the gravity of a thousand forevers

Sealed between my lips.

When I hold you, my love,

I'll hold you with the fervour

Of a thousand serotonin sunsets

Blushing through my haunted dreams.

When I see you, my love

I'll see you with the tenderness

Of our newly planted wisteria vine

Its delicate tendrils

Swirling around my temperate veins.

When I touch you, my love,

I'll touch you with the tenderness

Of a midsummer ballet

With each swan stroke

Perfected into the rhythm of racing hearts.

When I sing to you, my love,

I'll sing with the passion

Of a thousand golden songbirds

Their voices merging

Into convoluted eons of

Moonlight musings.
