Society: Then And Now
Society: Then And Now

Everywhere you can find freedom,
Which one can enjoy very seldom?
Breathing the fresh air,
Is just very rare.
The whole crowd may walk with you,
But no one is there just for you.
We get what we ask,
But not what we wish.
People don't realise that they have learned the art of hate,
It's so deep being blocked by anger and fate.
People pretend to be happy and enjoying their life,
But the bitter truth is that they struggle and strife.
People don't care who gets hurt,
They don't realise anything by heart.
People love the space and are afraid also to admit the fear,
But deep inside they feel it and shed tears.
No one has even time to say hello and to bid goodbye,
They had made the gaps so deep and high.
Once upon a time,
People had love-respect deep inside
Which can be reflected by their deeds outside
The so-called freedom may not be there
But they enjoyed their life with each and every dare
They breathed the fresh air
With of course lots of care
The crowd may not be there for you
But everyone was always there for you
Happiness, good-will was being everywhere
That's why pain, sadness and depression was rare
People carried compassion with great humanity
They had much more dedication and sincerity
Everything was fine and crystal clear
Oh! Wow!!! What were those days dear
That love, respect, good-will are now in grave
Which today we search for and crave.
