Sympathy
Sympathy
Strange is this emotion
When for others you feel,
It's compassion
But then look look at you
It's like a mockery of the situation
Sometimes it is a gesture of love
Other times makes you feel low
Although it conveys the message
Besides you, I'm there through thick & thin
It also depicts the find you worth nothing
Comfort it does give during your time worst
Making your heart feel really secure
Many times it just adds to your fear
Fuelling your self-doubt and quelling hope's feeble flicker.

He never knew that I had lost my sight, He loved my nature, not my face bright. Till one day my handicap was no longer viewed, That was the day I had faith in Him renewed. What all can love to do to us? Well, that is better left for one to guess. He did not love me out of *sympathy*, He loved me out of empathy. I went from strength to strength, I had his backing the whole length. Many have sight, but few have vision. Maybe that is why God made me his passion.
