Dancing Moonbeams
Dancing Moonbeams
Daylight melted into the night
As its rays faded softly
Into mysterious moonbeams
The moon glowed
Even bigger
As the moonlight stretched
Across the waters
Mirrored surface
The enchanting
Ambient beams
Danced
Upon the dark gray
Waters of
The lake to float on
The night's
Whispering breeze
To touch on the
Waters edge kissing
The beach
The silver beams
Caressed
The warm sand not
Wanting
To disturb any hidden
Lovers
Left in its darkness
When it came time
To float back on
The night's soft
Breeze to
Continue its dance
It had started with the waters
Soon it began to transform
Back into the suns rays
To warm the chilled water
As dawn slowly steals
Back its turn
Making it daylight
Again nudging the
Shrinking moon
Back
To be lost
In the light skies
