Avenue

Walking through the avenue

Crunching the gravels below

With one hand holding yours

And other hand waving past those bushy flowers,

Then came a brief moment

Where our eyes met

And breath stopped

Silence took over us

And so did love

Filled with shots of affection in our eyes

Came closer we,

With our hearts open and lips locked

Met two universes together

Never did they live together after

Coz the avenue diverged 

Our paths changed 

Our lives did

But never did that memory fade

Of the feeling that avenue bade.
