The Future Man

The Future Man

2 mins 422 2 mins 422

The most uncertain, efficaciously wile,

Without a care, encrusted in style.

Dark gray hair with eyes gawky blue,

The Future Man it is, I present to you.

This ulterior man, has travelled away and far,

Gathering belongings along with this nasty scar.

Travelling through generations, as a specimen of time,

From future Utopias to the darkest regimes.

He tells the tale of foreign adventures,

Obscure civilizations soaked in exotic cultures.

Running through an unceasing marathonian race,

Wandering and voyaging through time and space.

Don't get bewildered by his inept appearance,

The pasts and the future, still reasoning his disappearance.

He has himself seen all the violence and rages,

And excitement and passion and frenzy through ages.

But how does he travel? How is he able?

For that he has a timepiece that has travelled through fables.

He puts in a time, a horizon, a place,

The physics around him then slowly abase.

The next thing he knows, he is where he planned,

Drifting through a stretch on an alien land.

Sometimes unknown, sometimes familiar,

He has met different beings, nixing care and fear.

There are questions in your eyes, I see you want to ask,

About different futures, about transcended pasts.

But for that he asks a nominal fee,

For knowledge and wisdom comes never for free.

Hear me sayin', come ye all and meet him in person,

Before the show concludes and I drop the curtain.

Hear the stories and encounter the incidents new,

The Future Man it is, I present to you.
