An Ode to My Mother (Part II)
An Ode to My Mother (Part II)
This too should happen, sometimes…
The spring of heaven must blow ecstatic breezes to you!
And must enkindle the immeasurable happiness in you!
And I admire you every time, O Mother!
This too should happen, sometimes…
The glorious moon must wake from its euphoric slumber,
And to cascading rivulets of its silver light, it must cumber,
And vignette it to your sanctified vermillion to shine bright,
As your face brightens my life, like moon brightens night!
And I admire you every time, O Mother!
This too should happen, sometimes…
Monstrosities of life kneels humiliated before thine love,
And by your warmth, facing all the enigmas I rise above!
Restless heart soothes to the tunes of love, by your treat;
As Vicinity of Divinity is found beneath your lotus feet!
And I admire you every time, O Mother!
This too should happen, sometimes…
Lord of Eden-garden must shower upon you his blessings,
And must don upon you the august heavenly dressings!
And I admire you every time, O Mother!
