The Going Gets Tough

Love is love and it is not fulfilled halfheartedly.

Because when done with disinterest it isn't loved.

Love is the purity in the sanctum of truth.

Honored and revered are those who find it soon,

And those who take ages to find the chosen one.

 

But love can’t be used as a made-up joke,

Or mugged-up poetry for declamation,

Love is an inborn art that creates masterpieces in the heart,

For those in whom it wishes to grow and blossom.

Love is a beautiful dream, a non-breakable bliss,

That between a bubble and its parent bubble.

  

Drop a pin in a place where there is no sound,

No disturbance of the wind,

You do hear a sound maybe faint,

Maybe loud, depending on the surface it fell on.

That is the momentum of falling love and the resonance of the love bounces back.

  

Love is a give & take relationship,

But I believe it’s more of a relationship where you need to give more;

Sometimes without expecting a return.

And if you can maintain this relationship successfully,

Then there is nothing impossible in this world.

 

If you imagine love to be the symbolic heart that it is,

Then imagine the heart adorning the devil’s tiara.

It looks around searching around with sheer determination

With intentions both good and wicked to have fun.

Is that love losing out on what it really does to people?

 

Then it’s no more love its mere attraction for benefits of any kind.

And once love’s vanished,

It’s no point believing that you still care,

Now you are the seeker,

In the game of life; revenge is what you thrive.
