Let Her Be

The world is changing,

But her world is still the same.

She can't ask for more of anything,

Because she's a girl and she's got no rights to claim.

She loves you more than you can ever expect,

But she fails every time she tries to express.

She doesn't ask for money, or your undivided attention;

She just wants some time to experience new joy and craves affection.

Life has never been easy for her,

But she's still an inspiration for many.

Because her faith and passion,

Doesn't let her give up on any.

Life without her parents would be a nightmare,

But there’s no harm in giving her some space.

Just let her be,

Before she runs elsewhere.

She can die for people she loves,

Not forgetting she can kill someone for the same.

But just let her be when she asks for,

Because peace is what her name stands for.

It’s ok if she achieves success late,

It’s ok if she doesn't have the love of her life right now.

For her, there is no right age for getting a job or to get married,

Because she believes in moments of perfection no matter when, where and how.

Independence gives her an adrenaline rush,

All she needs is your belief and trust.

There have been hurdles on her way in and out,

And she nails them with just one purpose of making you proud.

Why don’t you believe in her and let her fly,

She will succeed, even if you just be there for a while;

Discard your endless worries and cries,

Everybody else can take a step back and get a life.

She doesn’t utter a word back because she respects,

She’s not the one who hurts and shouts.

She will do it all what everyone expects,

But just take care of her little dream clouds.

Just let her be and she will stand out,

Be there, she’ll pour her heart out.

She knows the rights, wrongs and future might be;

She will do all what you want, just let her be.
