The Rain
The Rain
Far up the valley,
In the golden sunshine,
Lay there in silence,
A lonely cabin,
With a soundless wind chime.
Back here in the woods,
Covered in shadows and hoods.
Deep down in the mud and in dearth,
I lie there in tears covered with earth.
I took the gloom, the anxiety, and pain,
You live in the sunshine, while I take on the rain.
