Hidden Demon
Hidden Demon
A poem that is dedicated to all those children who have been victims of child abuse...
There was a time when I looked upon you as every child did,
When I thought you would save me from every evil;
To a sacred term called 'FATHER', you were always a hidden devil.
You pretended in front of all to be the best you could be,
But behind the closed doors, you are a demon whom people would never see.
The family was never your concern and children were never your priority;
Don't worry the future is yet to come and you will pay for every inch of your cruelty!
With thrashes on my back and bruises on my face,
I have cried through the nights almost every day.
When I needed you the most, you just walked away;
More than your child, I felt like I was your prey.
It’s a shame for all those who in spite of knowing the truth hid your cruelties;
But it’s completely fine as God is always watching over their dirty mentalities.
It’s my promise that I will never turn into the one you expected me to be,
But I will be potential enough to knock you down by my building's security.
To all those so-called 'MEN' who have a worthless living,
You all will soon regret when the senescence will show you its true meaning.
