Why Is The Sea So Salty?

Long long ago, when the sea was not salty, there was a princess and there was a magician.

One day the princess got bored and said to the magician, "Our food reservoirs are getting over, many people don't have food and soon we are not going to have food."

The magician replied,"I know my highness. But the real question is what are we going to do about it?"

"Oh, you don't have any imagination, do you magician. So all I want you to do is to make a machine that will give any food out if you put water in it."The princess replied.

So the magician got to work and made a machine that when you put water in it and tell you what you want to eat it will make it. The princess thanked the magician and went to sleep. That night a robber came, stole the machine, got on a boat and went away from the kingdom.

The robber wanted some food so he told the machine,"I want some thing salty."And he poured some water in the machine then the machine made some salt. The robber tasted some salt and he loved it so much that he became a little greedy and poured a lot of water in the machine. He poured so much water that the machine made so much salt that the boat and the machine sank to the bottom of the sea. The robber died of course but the machine did not, so the amount of water in the sea was enough to keep the machine running forever.
