Camera,

And

Action.

4:30 AM

The clock hits the time he stands up wipes his numb eyes off and walks out of the house. As he starts walking, he remembers that night. It is been 21 days to the incident and yet it feels like yesterday to him.

The tires screeching, he opens the door and runs towards the body. He can see the blood running down the tires. The memory purposely vague out the journey from the courtyard to the hospital. All he remembers now is him, holding the wounded hand and being numb through the time. The scene keeps on repeating in his mind, as he keeps on walking. He stops at a cliff, takes a deep breath. For him, time does not matter anymore. The sun has risen but you couldn’t figure out because it is all covered in clouds.

He feels his presence again both are standing there, looking at the clouds. There is a long pause, all goes quiet. He remembers the moments of that night. He takes out the knife from the jacket, the same which still had blood stains from the night.

SON: It is been 4 months dad, you have to let it go. He gathers the strength to speak to him, but the tears roll down his chin. He screams and it echoes. He drops down on his knees and continues to scream. He looks up, eyes all red and numb.

DAD: Why?

That’s it, he only asks that one question that why did his son slit his own wrist! What made him take that decision. He cries out as he asks that question again.

The scene stretches into the long shot.

The utter silence in the atmospheres continues as they both look into the eyes of each other. The tears rolling down from both of their chin! The winds start to howl loudly, he slowly starts to fade away into the thin air.

The son has filled his heart up with the sorrows of regret!

He knows that the question his dad is asking has no answer which will change the scene. He stands there quietly and tries to resist turning into the air.

The camera turns slowly towards dad,

As it fades out.

Still camera on DAD,

And CUT.
