Time Travel to 1500 AD

 What is the feud between Sheryl and Vincent?  What is Sheryl’s motive to save the earth?

 

In this episode we will see the reason for the enmity between Sheryl and Vincent. We also will come to know, the motive behind Sheryl’s obligation to save the Mother Earth from the clutches of the Virus ‘Apocalypse’, which infected from Vincent’s experiments.

For this, Come on readers! You please join me. Together with you, I will Time Travel to 1500 AD. This may be the ‘first of its kind’ experience for you in time travelling. And of course, for me too. We have chosen the period of Mughal conqueror Babur (1483-1530). There was a mention that the koh-i-noor diamond was with Sultan of Delhi before it came to Babur. So my imagination went on thinking that the Sultan of Delhi would have had some more Precious Stones along with Koh-i-noor’ diamond. These “more precious stones” are going to play a role in this episode.

 

Dear readers, in this episode, we will be meeting Vincent and Sheryl, as they existed in 1500 AD. But their names will be different. It will be Suhaan and Aamna respectively. At the end of this episode they will return back to their original present characters as Vincent and Sheryl.

Well now we will enter into the story!

Why Sheryl and Vincent are at loggerheads now? What lies behind? On turning back to our imaginary historical reference pertaining to 1500 AD, around 500 years before, we get some clear picture.

Suhaan was the chief security head of the Precious Stones (including Nine Gems) Section of the Delhi Sultanate.  (Who was this Suhaan? He is none other than Vincent in this current birth.) The then Sultan of Delhi has entrusted Suhaan, with the high profile duty of maintaining the priceless invaluable precious stones like Coral, Pearl, Hessonite, Emarald, Diamond, Blue Sapphire, Yellow Sapphire (Topaz), Ruby, Lapis Lazuli(Cats Eye) etc.,

It was not that easy to enter in to this domain of Gems and Precious Stones. Signet Ring of the Sultan or the Sultanah was the only acceptable ID proof to enter this zone. Without the Signet Ring, any one inside this zone will be immediately beheaded without any question.

However, on a day, it was noted that one of the valuable stones Lipis was missing from the treasury. The report went to Sultan. Suhaan was unable to explain the whereabouts of the stone. He knew, that, for such offences, Capital Punishment after third degree treatments, would be the only legal solution. Suhaan begged the Sultan to give him a day’s time to search for the stone. Sultan, unusually, accepted this request. But he laid a condition. If Suhaan didn’t come out with the stone he would be beheaded immediately.

The time left was meagre. Suhaan wanted to escape from the province, of course, along with the magical precious stone Lipis which is now in his possession. To gain some more time, he devised a plan. He thought that, for time being, a duplicate stone would be kept in the place. And before the matter leaks out, he would escape. So, he acted very fast. He met the goldsmith secretly. Offered him a bounty of gold coins which will be suffice till his grand child’s life time. This made him to make a duplicate for the missing stone Lipis. The crazy goldsmith with the help of his assistants completed the job within a very short time. Suhaan coolly replaced the duplicate in the place of the original.

Suhaan visited personally and invited the Sultan and the Sultanah for witnessing the ‘lost and found' stone. Next day the Sultan and the Sultanah inspected the stone. The King kept silent but not the Sultanah.

The Sultanah was well aware that some malfunctioning was going on by Suhaan, towards some untoward. She wanted to verify if the stone is genuine. Not only the genuineness of the Stone.. but also the integrity of Suhaan. She was very suspicious about the drama of ‘missing and finding’.

The Sultanah of Delhi secretly designated her Official Spy Aamna, a woman spy, to find out the real truth.

(This Aamna is none other than present day Sheryl.) The efficient Aamna did her best job and brought out the real truth. The truth was that the original stone was with Suhaan only. Since it had some magical powers, he has taken the stone to use it for his ambitions. The effectively played role of Aamna, brought out these secrets one by one, Suhaan managed to escape and he took an oath that he will take revenge of Aamna.

The Sultanah setup a strong force of soldiers under the leadership of Aamna to locate Suhaan and arrest him. Aamna, a spy, who is a bold and excellent warrior too, taking part in many wars, indulge and execute this task without any slip.

The force went in search of Suhaan. The search operation was carried out in Forests, Hills, Desserts, Water bodies without any omissions. Finally in the Ganga river, in a blind water spot, Suhaan was seen escaping with a boat. Aamna, with four soldiers, chased Suhaan in a speedy boat.

Other soldiers were made to wait on the opposite bank of the river.

As they were nearing Suhaan’s boat, suddenly he took out the Magical Stone Lipis. He chanted some ‘manthras’ and made the boat carrying Aamna and her soldiers, to capsize. The soldiers as well as Aamna were struggling under the water. Aamna prayed the Almighty for a rescue. Suddenly, the Ganga Matha gave way, and the Mother Earth emerged from the water and provided a strong base of land, for the soldiers and Aamna. Suhaan was in utter chaos of what is happening. Aamna utilised this opportunity and let an arrow from her bow. The arrow hit Suhaan so heavily that he was at his last stage of life.

Suhaan, just before few seconds of death, swore as follows:

“HAY AAMNA.. YOU TAKE IT FROM ME! IN EACH AND EVERY BIRTH, I WILL MEET YOU AND SEE THAT YOUR END OF LIFE IN THAT BIRTH, HAPPENS THROUGH ME ONLY! AND NOT ONLY THAT, I WILL SEE THAT THE EARTH – CALLED AS MOTHER EARTH BY YOU – WHO TIMELY HELPED YOU TO SURVIVE – AND PUNISHED ME - WILL ALSO LOOSE ALL THE LIVES FROM HER, AND BECOME A DESERTED LAND PIECE. WE WILL MEET…”

and he died.

From then onwards - Suhaan and Aamna – sorry readers –Vincent and Sheryl in this birth, crossed many births. In each birth, Vincent will try to take revenge of Sheryl. But every time he miserably failed. Nor he could do any harm to the Mother Earth.

(And dear readers you may remember that you have boarded the Time Machine and had a historical time travel with me. Now this is the time to reverse our Time Travel from 1500 AD to the present period. Hope you have enjoyed the journey as well as the incidents that we have met with.)

So, now, in this birth, Vincent was emphatically determined to execute his Oath of Revenge, without fail.

So the rivalry between Vincent and Sheryl is a continuous process extended from birth to birth.

‘Apocalypse’ virus was an ancient virus lying dormant for several centuries. The radiation generated in the experiment by Vincent’s group triggered the inactive variant of virus causing intensive infections among the human kind. This is now spreading throughout the world. If allowed, this will destroy the entire mankind and the Mother Earth. The codes to contain this virus is with Charu and the one engraved in the SWORD.

Realising the danger involved, Sheryl has time travelled as Charu and has come to the present time through the wormhole. So now Sheryl is Charu. But unfortunately, Charu is under the control of Vincent. And hence Charu has no memory of herself as Sheryl.

Vincent and all his team members gathered in the experiment hall. The hall was locked from outside and strict instruction given to securities, that the door should not be opened, at any cost, except at the command of Vincent. Charu(Sheryl), who was under the control of Vincent was brought to the middle of the hall and Vincent was mesmerizing her to reveal the code that was expected to be one of the codes, needed to contain with the ‘Apocalypse’ virus.

At the peak of mesmerization, an unexpected act happened. Zuha, a Scientific Assistant of Vincent group, who was preparing for a test after Charu’s revelation, mishandled some chemical cylinders and a particular gas – colourless – non-flammable - started leaking from the cylinder. The sound and the speed with which it was coming out created an unusual circumstance. Soon the gas started occupying the hall. It all started with Charu’s laughing. The laughter increased slowly step-by-step and reached higher levels. A similar laughter process was followed by Vincent also. It spread infecting everyone in the hall. At a point of time every one was laughing like mad people. No one could control.

The security outside could hear the laughter sound, but did not dare to look into. A few people knocked the door to go outside. But the security was determined that he would respond only to his master Vincent’s command. But unfortunately, Vincent was lying in a corner of the hall, laughing uncontrollably.

By this time the many readers would have understood that the leaked gas was Nitrous Oxide (N2O). And it is well known that Nitrous Oxide is also called laughing gas which will create laughter uncontrollably based on the exposure.

In this chaos, one good thing happened. That is, the control of Vincent over Charu was loosened and Charu realised that she was Sheryl who has time travelled and reached Earth, to contain the man killing virus ‘Apocalypse’ and to save the Mother Earth.

At a point of time, when the door was opened, and the people inside madly rushed out, got settled out of laughter, it was found that …
