Roar! Boom! Boom! Roar! went the cannons.

The war had been going on for months. Millions of people had been killed. Vishnu had himself slain several enemy soldiers with his sword. He himself had to suffer severe injuries. “Now! This is a fair fight!” thought Vishnu, and continued to fight, now using the best of his skills. His opponent gave him a tough fight too! At last, Vishnu managed to overpower his opponent. He raised his sword to kill the enemy. For a moment, he remembered the time he had spent with this fellow-student at the ashram, and his hand refused to pierce the sword into his opponent’s body. Vishnu knew all about him. That he had a family to support and parents to look after. Vishnu remembered all the love his parents had given him. And Vishnu knew he did not want to kill his opponent.

Then, Vishnu came back to the present. He realized that they were now supposed to be enemies, and people would suspect Vishnu if he did not kill his opponent………
