The Two Kittens

Once there was a beautiful farm house on the hill of fiddle sticks. In the house, there lived a family that was very rich indeed. They had many servants and two cats.
One was a very lazy, good for nothing, white beautiful cat called Louie. 
Louie was always treated like a princess. She had soft velvet bed to sleep, a golden dish with her name engraved on it. The other cat was really a hardworking
Tabby cat, called Snip. She slept with cook in the kitchen and ate stale food on a broken, old plate.

Once Louie and Snip were roaming in the garden. Louie started showing off. She said, “Oh, Snip I am so beautiful, cute and everyone loves me so much and everyone hates you.” Snip replied, “Yes, Louie you are beautiful but very lazy. You know Louie…
today I heard the maids saying that the family that owns us has broken down, so they are going to sell one of us.’’ “They will sell you, I am so beautiful that no one will be
willing to sell me,’’ said Louie arrogantly.
So that night itself the owner came to the cook and said, “Can you please wrap Snip in a basket and give it to me, because I have to sell Snip." Hearing this horrid news,
the cook was astonished. He replied, “Please madam, don’t let Snip go. Snip helps me a lot. He chases a lot of rats in here. He’s not the reason for your expenses. Louie is - She always needs expensive food to eat, costly velvet bed to sleep on and a golden dish to eat food on. She never helps in any work, she is very lazy indeed.

So, the next morning princess cat Louie was sold. Snip was a little bit sad as he lost his
friend but he felt happy as he could stay in the house.

If you see a tabby cat chasing any rat, it could be Snip, the Hardworking.
