The Two Gods

Shrimad Bhagvad Gita is an entire ocean of knowledge and the ideas with which one must live their life.

But the thing which intrigued me the most was the description of a 'Sthitpragya Manushya' by Lord Shri Krishna. The way he has described a complete human being, seems exactly like the description of Lord Shiva himself.

We all know that the two most powerful Gods Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva have always admired and worshipped one another. But the qualities in the nature of someone who has known the true meaning of life and the world around them and within them in its entirety, creates an image of Lord Shiva in the reader's mind.

Hence, I shall conclude by saying that not just a particular part but the way in which the Gods and demigods in a polytheistic religion like Hinduism (originally known as the 'Sanatan Dharma') are so respectful and reverent of one another is highly commendable.

This is what enhanced my respect towards the text itself and the religion.
