The Shoplifter!

He was dying of hunger. Had no option left but to steal from the nearby turban guy's sweet shop. After mustering all his courage he slowly entered the shop and thinking that nobody is watching him or he's not being looked at, he gently lifted a box of sweet within his hands reach and rushed towards the exit. Before he could leave the shop he was confronted by the turban guy who by now knew that he was stealing from his shop. On being caught red-handed he could not hold his tears and started crying with his hands in a requesting gesture to not hand him over to the police.

To his surprise, the turban guy asked him to come to work in his shop from tomorrow. He couldn't understand what has just happened with him and clearly his face reflected his perplexed emotions to which the turban guy said "you're too innocent to understand the difference between right and wrong, at this tender age if I send you to the jail then you may regret doing this all your life. So here I'm, to teach you a lesson by giving you a job so that you can earn on your own and respectfully live your life."

He was fortunate enough to have avoided going to jail. Sometimes we're blinded by our anger and almost forget to find out the reason behind the intention of a crime committed. The person may be helpless and not have left any other option than that. How about being a little kind and try to empathize, sometimes? Only then may be this world could become a better place for not just the privileged but for the less privileged ones too.
