The Puzzle House

There was a house which was very big and no one ever lived in it. One day three children (Daphni, Laura, Bryant) lost their way to their home. They all were about the age of 11or 12.

They started asking for the orange street as it was where they lived. You would think that why did they not call on the phone no. of their parents?? Well, they didn't know the phone number.

They asked many people but no one knew where is Orange Street. It was now evening and the sun was dying they have to sleep somewhere. They started asking people if they would like to make them sleep in their house but no one agreed as in this village no one trusted each other.

The walked and walked but they still could not find the place to rest tonight. They started heading towards the north. When they saw a big house and its gate was opened. Laura said while pointing towards the house "my sixth sense says that we should stay in that house tonight." Bryant made his way to the gate and told the girls to stay there. He went inside and knock the door again and again but no one came as the house was empty. Bride thought for sometime and opened the gate and went inside to check if there is somebody there. He checked room,staircase ,bathroom but no one was there. So, they decided to stay there but they did not know that it was a Trap house which you can say as a puzzle house they have to solve a puzzle to go out of the house.

The children took only one room and slept in it tonight the next morning they got up and saw that a voice was coming from outside the room. They opened the door and saw that the main doors at the back and at the front of the house are locked.

They meet their way to the kitchen as they were very hungry. Now they Sat on the chairs and waited for the toaster to get ready as they were waiting they felt something pinching on the back. They turned around and saw that there was a hole in the chair and some scorpions were coming out of it. They took some pans, spoons, forks and killed them but they were not stopping to come there were hundreds of them inside the hole. They tried to block the holes but the force of scorpions made it impossible.

They killed them one by one, at last, they tired and thought to open gate and run out of the kitchen. They tried to open the gate but the gate was locked. They even tried the windows but they were also locked. No no, they were trapped in the kitchen with the scorpions!!! They saw a big cupboard which was empty so they started sitting inside it and closed the door.

They Sat inside the cupboard. There Daphni saw a magazine and started reading it. She was suddenly amazed as there was a puzzle written in it and it also said that if you solved this puzzle you will be able to get out of this room. She told the puzzle to both Laura and Bryant. The puzzle was "You buy it for eating but you don't eat it!!!!!"

Can you tell the answer they thought and thought Bryant suddenly thought of an answer it was "A Plate"?

They went to the plate case and started finding a plate with something different than other plates. Then Laura found a key. She felt very proud of herself. She went to the gate and unlocked it. Then they got to the main door. The was also able to open the main door they went out. And, they were surprised to see that the mother was standing with the police and made the police. They ran to her and hug their mother. Their mother was very happy that at last, she got her children back.e write a report.
