On the outskirts of Varanasi was a small hut made of bamboo, large enough for a person to live. Its owner one of the poorest person in the city, his only source of diet water from the holy Ganga and mangoes from his only left Mango tree. His condition was not this bad, for he was betrayed!. His father was a rich man who had left his wealth to this kind-hearted soul. He was named Goswami. Swami's friend regularly used to borrow money from him and he blindfolded used to give it. His friend's promised to return it soon but never did in reality.

They looted him till he was left with very little money to construct the hut in which he is leaving. What else could this poor man do? he had no evidence of the betrayal. His friends now rich men lived in big mansions. One fine day a great saint was traveling through the forest tired, and hungrily entered the city. His eyes suddenly stared at a small hut and he decided to have his lunch from there. The hut was none other than Goswami's. The saint who arrived at the entrance of the hut was soon pleasantly welcomed by Goswami.

Goswami seated the saint made him comfortable and went to pluck some mangoes. To his dismay, there was not a single mango on the tree and the saint may curse him!. Panicked and horrified Goswami remembered something that made him relaxed. He had a small gold ring in his hand as the only jewel left, which was kept handy for emergency and he quickly ran to the market, sold it, and bought eatables for the saint. The saint who was watching all these with his mighty powers felt pity for the condition of Goswami. Swami soon returned and the saint ate to his stomach full. After taking rest for a long time the sage continued his ascetic journey before leaving he whispered something in Swami's ear something that of a plan and left.

The very next day Swami climbed to the terrace of his ex-friend's mansion and decided to chant a mantra. It was so loud that the ex-friend A.K.A Sunil came out looked up, spotted Swami, and asked "Hey, what're you doing up there?". To this Swami replied "I was chanting this special mantra that a saint told me yesterday and was preparing to jump off". "Jump off! Are you mad?" asked Sunil. "No, this would actually please the gods and they would fulfil my needs. My hut was too small, more the height more satisfaction" replied Swami. The greedy fat Sunil who always wanted more was excited to try this. He said, "let me jump first, otherwise, I'll call my guards". It was early morning and the lazy guards were all asleep dreaming about reaping riches. Sunil without thinking twice climbed and then jumped off the terrace ending his life.

"Mission accomplished," said a voice out of nowhere. Swami then used the dead man's thumb for paperwork and took over his property. To this Swami claimed that his best friend Sunil had left the property for me in case anything wrong happens to him and that unfortunately he slipped down the terrace and died.

With the new property, Goswami lived happily ever after!
