The Life of Jack Copper-3

You must be puzzled why I stopped working for them. Well let me tell you the whole story

Hakim was a really nice person but I got fooled by him. See I used to sleep with him in one of the rooms for the people who worked there. One day I woke up and I found a knife dug in my arm but I really could swear on this: I saw someone who suddenly ran away from my room. After I got it cleaned I told the manager why this knife was in my arm and if he had something that he would like to confess. He said, " I'll fire you from your job! Making stupid accusations" Mandla (Manager of the hotel) said. I left his office and went down the staircase and there I met Hakim who was running hurriedly.

"Why the haste, Hakim?" I asked. 

"Oh Jack! Did you know that..um..I mean I am just..uhhh asking Mandla for some paperwork." he stammered, and then flew down the stairs.

I was surprised. Hakim was acting like a disgruntled llama. He was usually quite articulate. But I just left it because he was really kind to me. I went and continued my work.

The next week MANDLA WAS DEAD! That was IT! So many weird things had been happening in this hotel. I went and asked Hakim "Why are you in Mandla's office? He's dead". I think you're responsible for causing the injury of my arm and the death of Mandla, I thought to myself. I went to inspect this a little closer and saw the blood of Mandla on Hakim's hands. I thought he must have been helping him. I asked him, "Hakim, why are your hands covered in blood?" . "JUST SHUT IT!", he yelled. I was in COMPLETE awe. Hakim never uses bad words on me. "OK, I confess" he said. "I was the one who stabbed your arm and killed Mandla". I wanted to run out tell everyone about this, but Hakim stopped me with his Gysmone. He said" Any last words before your DEATH" I was almost gonna faint because Hakim was a really nice man in the first place and now he wanted to KILL ME! I said" Ok, first now you sound like someone I know so please reveal who you are, and anyway you're gonna kill me so I can't do anything to you.

Fair deal right? Hakim said " I am HANK" At first I thought he was fooling me but then I realised he will tell me his story and any more uh's and ah's I'd know he's lying. I let him start. Hakim said"You know when you shot me I didn't die because I told you when you first joined the CF that head's of this company always wear the MEGASHIELD. But you forgot and afterwards when you were walking away I ran and went to my disguise room because if I came out like my own self then you would recognise me. But a quarter of your bullet bounced off my MEGASHIELD and hit my arm. Anyway I dressed like a young man used the VoiceChanger54, which was made by YOU! It changed my voice and I'm going to KILL you because you betrayed the CF!"

I suddenly had an idea. "Yeah, right," I smirked. "Hank died ages ago. I'm not an idiot."

"Would you like proof?" Hakim (or Hank) was relishing is moment of victory. But this was just what I wanted.

"If you can give it to me."I said.

Hank put his Gysmone on a desk and began to remove his face mask. I slipped my Gysmone from my back pocket and shot him clean through the head. I guessed his MEGASHIELD layer was on top of his mask, which he had stupidly taken off. And I was right. He dropped down, stone dead. I ran out of the Hotel Franchias (the hotel I worked in all these years). I sighed. I was back on the streets again.
