The Incomplete Love

Monsoon has started. Everywhere there were rainfall, thundering, and lightning. One night, in this heavy rain, Divyanka was standing at a bus stop waiting for Rahul. She was not alone at the bus stop. There were three men with her. One out of the three was continuously staring at Divyanka. She was feeling a little irritated because of him. After some time a bus came to the bus stop and that man got into it. Divyanka felt a little relaxed. She was continuously checking the time on her phone. It was around 9.30 p.m. she was continuously getting calls from her home but she was rejecting every call. She was still waiting for Rahul.

Divyanka used to work in a call center and Rahul was a delivery boy in a courier company. The first time when she saw Rahul was in her own office when he came to deliver her the courier package. When Divyanka saw Rahul for the first time she was totally amazed by his charm. They both met again after 3 months when Rahul came to deliver another courier package to one of her colleagues. This time she asked Rahul for his phone number.

On the same day, it was around 10.30 p.m. at night, Divyanka called Rahul but he didn't receive the call. Divyanka thought that maybe he is sleeping. Soon after 5 minutes, she got a call from Rahul on her phone. She received the call but didn't say anything. On the other side, Rahul was continuously saying "hello hello". But he got no response. Finally, he disconnects the call. After 2 minutes he got a call from Divyanka's number.

Rahul: Hello! Who is this?

Divyanka: You don't know me?

Rahul: No ma'am. I don't know you.

Divyanka: Do you remember today morning you gave me your phone number?

Rahul: No ma'am. please kindly say your name.

Divyanka : Arrey! I am Divyanka.

Rahul: Oh yes, I remember. Miss Divyanka.

After this their conversation never ended. They started to meet every day. Slowly they fell in love with each other. They both were madly in love. Divyanka was finally ready to marry Rahul. She asked him to meet her father and to talk about their marriage. Rahul Said, "Ok! I will come to your house next Sunday".

Divyanka checked the time by her watch. It was around 10:30 p.m. she was alone in the bus stand. The rain stopped. Suddenly Divyanka saw a bike coming towards her. It was Rahul. When Rahul came near her:-

Divyanka: who are you? I don't know you.

Rahul: Sorry Divyanka.

Divyanka: I don't know you. And why are you saying sorry in the middle of the road?

Rahul : Sorry na my Jaan!

Divyanka: If I would have been your jaan you would have not left me alone in the middle of the road at this time. And you told me that you will come to talk to my father on Sunday. Three Sundays had already gone by but you didn't come to my house. I think you don't want to marry me.

Rahul: who told me that I don't want to marry you? Let's marry now only in some temple.

Divyanka: don't joke.

Rahul: let's go! Today I will talk to your father about our marriage.

Divyanka sat on the back seat of his bike. While they were going suddenly rain started. Rahul wanted to stop his bike under a shade but Divyanka didn't allow him to do so. Both were getting wet. Divyanka was continuously getting calls from her home. But she was disconnecting every call. Rahul asked her to receive the call and inform her parents that she will be late. Divyanka denied. She said when I am with you I forget everything.

Finally, both of them reached Divyanka's house. Divyanka rang the doorbell. Her father opened the door. Her father said," where were you? Why are you so late? Atleast you should have answered our calls".

Divyanka: Papa! See who had come to meet you all? He is Rahul. My boyfriend. You were always asking me to bring Rahul home so that we can fix the marriage date. Finally, he came today.

Rahul, what are you looking for? At least say hello to my papa!

Rahul: Hello uncle.

After hearing all this from Divyanka, there were tears in her Papa's eye. He said," with whom you are talking Divyanka? There is no one beside you". To this Divyanka replied, "what are you saying papa? Can't you see Rahul is standing here beside me and he is saying hello to you". Her father was feeling so pity seeing his daughter's such condition.

Actually, Rahul had died in a serious accident 2 weeks ago. Divyanka's parents had said her that Rahul is no more but Divyanka never believed them.

Today it has been 5 years since that incident but today also every day Rahul's soul comes to meet Divyanka every night the same way they used to meet before his death. Today also Divyanka is waiting for that Sunday when Rahul will come to talk to her father about their marriage.

It was Rahul's true love for Divyanka which didn't separate them even after his death. In this way, a beautiful love story remained incomplete.........
