The Hardest Challenge Brought Out The Best In Me..

Even though the lockdown is halfway over, I am still stuck at home. Our pocket has been completely sealed and it's dreadful.

We have been struggling and trying to cope with this situation.

In spite of staying at home for over three months, thousands of cases are rising day by day. And for me, it's even worse. We were all jolly and excited to start middle school and start the year off with a laugh. But it turned out the exact opposite. I'll have to say, 2020 has been the worst year of my life till date. For once in my life, I am terribly missing those bus rides, school activities, all the teachers, and practically everything. We are having regular online classes, but nothing is better than a normal school. It almost feels like the ice-cream man was near my house, but when I reached downstairs he just vanished. The beginning of the year has been a huge challenge for me.

I have been dealing with a lot of things this year, but let me look at the positive side. Even though I have been juggling a lot of tasks lately, and have been stuck at home, it has brought out the best in me. I have noticed some differences in myself. I did have many extracurricular classes earlier as well, but online classes are different. I have noticed that I am a multitasker and can handle a lot of things at once. It does get me frustrated at times, but at the end of the day, all work is almost complete. I have started to become tech-savvy, and it feels great learning so many different technology-related things in the lockdown. This lockdown has been the biggest lesson of my life. Before, it was pure torture to my brain. But eventually, I learned that this is just god's way of giving every living thing in this world a big break, to try and improve oneself in this period of time.

I have tried to enjoy as much as I can in this pandemic. I have tried taking the bad situations and making them into a good experience so that in future I will be able to narrate this to my close ones. As they say, " Suffer what there is to suffer, enjoy what there is to enjoy." which is absolutely true. Everyone should know that there will definitely be some ups and downs in their everyday life, but we must learn to cope with it. I got to spend a lot of time with my family in this situation, and it was truly an awesome journey. We must remember not to panic and keep moving forward. The future is not in our hands. As said by a famous singer, Dorris Day- " Que sera, Sera. What will be will be." This lockdown definitely brought out the best in me.
