The stars, which are always there in the sky even when we can't see them, exist to beautify our world. Likewise, parents are always there for their child, beautifying the world. They make innumerable sacrifices just to see that beautiful curve on their child's lips, which makes their life alluring. This life story of theirs is filled with boundless love and affection for their kids.

Huma was a beautiful lady, married to Shaiq, a man older than her. Despite the age differences between the two, the couple loved each other very much. Everything was going right, but one thing which worried them was that even after so many years of their marriage, they still had no child. Sha'iq longed for a smile on Huma's face, so did Huma, who was always upset because she used to think that she couldn't provide her husband and his family the happiness of a child, an heir, an angel, and any source of joy.

Both of them left no stone unturned to hear that good news. They used to go to saints, visit the shrines, and other holy places to pray. Their families, too, were impatiently waiting for their child, and with their continuous prayers, one day the Almighty heard their pleas.

One day, Huma screamed due to pain in her body. Her husband rushed to the hospital. After being admitted there, she gave birth to a baby boy.

Everyone was very happy. Huma knew no bounds of her joy, and Shaiq's face brightened with a smile when he came to know that he'd become a 'Father'. The families of the couple rejoiced and celebrated. Their relatives congratulated them and gave blessings to the baby. The baby boy was named Faazi.

Everyone in the family loved Faazi as he was the first baby boy born in the home. His family brought him up with great care. Faazi was the apple of his mother's eye, and for his father, he was a source of a million smiles. His parents were contented, and they wanted nothing but the happiness of their only child. They played with him, trying their best to keep him blissful and away from every sort of trouble and difficulty.

One day, Faazi was playing in the garden when his ears heard the bell of a balloon seller ringing across the road. Quickly, he rushed, but all of a sudden, a vehicle drove him off while he was crossing the road. He laid half-dead on the road with blood flowing from his head and covering his face. The pedestrians took him to the hospital and informed his parents, who, on seeing their only child battling death, cried for help. He was admitted to the emergency ward. Huma cried streams of tears, and Shaiq's face had turned pale due to distress. They were dumbfounded, praying to their Lord for the safety of their child. The doctor came out of the ward and comforted them by saying that they'd achieved success in saving Was'ad but he'd got internal injuries in his skull. The couple couldn't stop their tears but thanked their Lord for protecting their child. After a few weeks, Faazi was discharged from the hospital and brought back home. The accident had affected him severely, but even in those times of adversity, his parents didn't lose hope. Faazi couldn't walk on his own. His body kept trembling, and he couldn't even talk properly. Seeing her child, Huma used to cry silently, but with the support of Shaiq and other family members, she never gave up on her child, and after many efforts of his family along with their sincere prayers, Faazi once again became a normal boy as before. Now his parents' care for him increased ten folds. Faazi's parents just wanted his well-being and good health and nothing else. They had just forgotten themselves in the verge of his care. They loved him deeply and couldn't think of living without his existence.

Seeing their child happy was the dream of the couple and not only the couple's but the whole family's dream. Faazi's smiles made life seem colorful for all the family members. Now Faazi and his family lived a happy, blissful life for the next few years. He wished that he could be a source of a smile for his parents.

His parents always worried and over-cared for him. He wasn't allowed to remain away from home or go anywhere alone. He was always kept away from study stress. Faazi would get irritated due to such over-caring attitude of his parents. This situation of his had made him see his parents as enemies and hurdles in his life though deep down he knew that they did so just for his benefit but with his increasing age not always did he think like this. He wanted to be free to enjoy his life. He used to get obsessed with his over-caring parents and wished to be treated like other children.

Faazi was intelligent in studies, and that was the only field he was intelligent in. He always scored well, and his teachers loved him.

He passed his class tenth examination with flying colors. His parents were delighted, but they didn't want him to take his studies too seriously, so they didn't gift him something on his good marks. He was astonished to know that his parents gifted him nothing even on his brilliant success, and his friends (even those who'd hardly managed to pass the exams) received costly bikes, watches, and mobile phones.

At this time, he couldn't understand his parents and couldn't see through their perspective. He started taking his parents for granted and began hating them. He became arrogant to them and used to scold them. He started spending most of his time outside the home and acted as if he was a stranger in his own home.

His parents tolerated all this, but their care was still the same for their child. Faazi now didn't pay attention to his studies because he thought even if he secured good marks in his exams, he would receive nothing as a gift from his parents. He hardly managed to pass his class 11th and 12th exams. His other friends laughed at his failure.

In these hard times, it was his parents only who supported him. They just never cared or pressurized him to crack the exams, but they were only focused on his good health. Seeing the support of his parents, he realized that he'd misunderstood them. He felt very sorry and begged forgiveness for his mistakes. He once again started loving them because at the end it was only their support which encouraged him when everyone else left on seeing his failure. He just wanted to see them happy with a smile on their faces, for it was the only thing dearest to him, though he knew that he could never pay them for their made sacrifices even if he was given a hundred lives. Then they lived happily for the rest of their lives carving a beautiful love story full of happy moments of joy and a bazillion smiles.
