The Black

When Ben got an idea for his project, he saw something strange.There was a strange book in his desk. He read it aloud. It was about a boy who takes a strange pen which changes his life.

Ben forgot about his project. He was into the book. The next day, he told the story to all of his friends. They loved the story, but it was not possible in real life When Ben went to home he found the same pen in his desk. He was shocked. But at a point of time, he enjoyed writing with it.

He started writing a story. It was about a family who lost their son. Suddenly, Ben’s mother called him for dinner. It was raining outside. Ben’s mother asked him to get some yogurt from the nearby shop. He was waiting to go out because it was raining. He took his cycle and rode down the wet roads. He saw that the shop is closed because of rain. He came with a plan. He thought of travelling to the next street to buy Yogurt.

He bought and travelled back home. Suddenly, a strong wind swept away to an abandoned Place like he wrote in the story.

He wanted to explore but remembered his mother and went back home. It was an old building. As he reached home he continued his story that how the family survived without their son. Ben heard a sudden noise. He was shocked to see the characters of his story in front of his own eyes. His mother called Ben once again. Ben with his frightened face looked at his mom.

She wanted him to help her, but he refused. An unexpected moment happened right in front of his eyes. The two characters were not present at all. Ben was so confused to see the characters out of the book. At one instance he was convinced that it was a Dream. But something struck into his mind.

Actually if you look back and see, when the pen was shaking due to the wind the characters came out. But when it stopped, the characters vanished. Ben was in this thought for the whole day that he didn’t listen to his mother calling him for dinner.

When he was in his bed, ready to sleep, he actually found another clue that he did not finish naming his characters. If he did that he could know some reason of the characters escaping out of the story.

Ben quickly got out of his bed and started thinking of names for the characters. He named the boy Fred, his mother Mary and his father George. Ben was so restless to show the story and to also say what happened due to the pen.

When Ben said what happened his friends at the beginning they did not believe him but thinking about it later they agreed with Ben. His friends wanted to test the pen to check whether he was right or wrong. But Ben was scared that his friends might get into trouble but as his friends were insisting he gave the pen in one of his friends hand and to shocking news the pen vanished in the air.

Ben started noticing a change in the pen. He noticed that since that morning in the school, the pen writes only in the dark. This was mysterious yet quiet interesting to Ben. He started writing many stories with the pen in the dark. One fine night, Ben finished the story and slept. The next morning he woke up it was dark outside .Ben checked the clock and to a shock it was ten in the morning. Ben’s mind was restless , and suddenly he noticed the pen and remembered the story he wrote last night.

Similarly to this situation in the story, it was a girl who was facing it and her father will not be in the house when Ben checked for his father, he was in the airport to board the flight for a meeting. Ben was thinking about his father for some time but at some point he forgot about him. At the midnight, something woke Ben and to his shock it was Mary, the mother from the story.

Ben thought another thing the next morning that it was no Mary it was his mother. That day was Sunday. Mary arrived on Friday. There was a link. It was the day when the mother and father lost their son. So Ben thought that they wanted Ben to change the story or become their son as per the story. Ben thought of a plan that if he changes the story where parents find the son that would be the end.

Ben ran to his table in search of his book and the pen. He could not find it anywhere .he searched in his closet too. He asked his mother too. At that time his father arrived. He remembered burying the pen and the book in his garden long back. Without even thinking about him he went to the place where he buried the pen before.

Surprisingly he found the pen and the book there. He started changing the story. He was scared and threw the book away which went in the hands of his friend. He did not even know about that. The next day, Ben met his friends and was back to normal. But when his friend showed the book he was shocked. His friends were so enthusiastic about the story.

But they wanted to change the end. Without Ben permission they were about change the end. But their pen did not work .so they asked the pen which Ben found.He refused but they took it out and changed the end.That night Ben saw the family back again.
