 I will no longer live for you…

Vasanthi is an ordinary woman from a middle-class family. Husband Mohan works in Canada. At the time of the marriage, he was working in the company’s office in India. Mohan was promoted and sent to Canada around the time of the birth of his first child Manohar. It has been four years since Mohan moved to Canada.

Vasanthi has to live all alone in India with baby Manohar. Every week Mohan writes a lovely letter to his wife Vasanthi. After reading the letter, Vasanthi forgets her loneliness. She paid all her attention to the child Manohar and took good care of him. But after four years, some changes began to appear in Mohan's temperament. There was no love in the letters; He started writing the letter with full of advice to his wife to take care of Manokaran.

A few days later, he wrote a letter stating that he had been in contact with a woman living in Canada. Vasanthi, who was initially depressed, encouraged herself and looked for a job. She does not buy anything for herself with her earnings. She spent all her money on Manokaran and raised him with deep love and care.

But, when Manohar reached the age of teenage and was asked by his father if he was willing to come to Canada, he immediately caught the flight and left. Now Vasanthi is not upset. Life has taught her a lot. She made a bold decision. "Bye, bye," she said, breaking off the relationship.

 Next morning Vasanthi woke up as if she had just been born, wore her favourite sari, prepared her favourite breakfast and listened to the song on her favourite FM radio. In the evening after office work, she did not run straight to the home. She felt relaxed and went to the temple next door. After the darshan, she went to a nearby supermarket and bought her favourite vegetables. She bought her favourite film CDs. Yes, she determined –“ This is my life. I will no longer live for others. Hereafter I am going to live my life…”
