Society Or Love

We all know that no matter what we do we need to think about the society first, even if it's our personal life decision which has nothing to do with the society and if something goes the society won't be there to help either forget about help or being comforted the society would be the first one to criticize us. So as per me I don't think we should make decision based on what the society will think instead what we think and we want should be the base of our decision. It's always said since ancient times that man should always balance their heart and mind together, but not many people were there who were able to balance them together, so I believe that we should take decisions on the basis of what our heart and mind says by balancing instead on the basis of society. It's surely a tough task to balance our heart and mind together but it's still thousands times better than regretting for your whole life and even after death some of us can't have peace cause of such things. This is a story depicting this fact. 

The girl is 16 years old her name is Rose, she is not a top grade but an average student cause of her habit of slacking off during her lessons and studies. She lives with her mother only because her parents are divorced because of her father's drinking habit and it's been 12 years since then and she never missed or felt the need of his father's love not because she hated him but because she never received it even when he was with them but she longed for a happy family always not for herself only but for her mother also. Though she didn't know what it felt to be loved by father but when she would see other children she would feel like how great it would be if her father loved his family instead of alcohol. She is also an overthinker which causes her to be in a daze during her lessons and also the reason for her to slack of during her studies.

We all know about the pandemic which happened during these two years and caused everything to be online and staying at home 24/7. These two years are the longest time she spent with her mom since birth because she would usually stay at her grandma's house since her mother was a service woman. This stay at home caused her to overthink even more and this overthinking was so painful that to distract herself she started spend more time on her phone doing useless things instead of studying she knew that this is wrong but she had no choice she was unable to bear this pain. All these caused severe damage to her studies and that is when offline exams were announced she knew that she won't be able make it but still she decided to give the exams so as to not regret it and while she was giving her boards exam first semester, she did extremely bad in it to be exact she barely managed to qualify for second semester.

She was so sad and disappointed in herself that she wanted to end her life, even though she knew her result and had already decided to end everything after her result. But when she was holding the knife on her wrist and was about to end everything something flashed in her mind which stopped from doing so, it was the criticism her mother would suffer after her death. She cared about her mother the most, even before deciding to end her life she thought it through that what her mother would go through but she only thought about her financial and physical needs instead of her mental needs which flashed in front of her. Well she decided to give herself a second chance by attempting the second semester exam which was just a month and two weeks away. Though she decided to not to end her life and she tried to focus herself but still her overthinking mind was still giving her trouble. She had no friends so she decided to download a app where she could make some friends staying incognito without using her email id or any such detail.

She did find such an app but it was actually a wrong it was full of weirdos and people who upto no good but there only she met a guy who was ten years older than called James, their conversation started a friends but soon she started to feel connected towards but she ignored this feeling cause she thought that it might be because both of them have similar interests and after quite some time she started to trust him a little it, well she has trust issues she never trusts anyone easily but since she somehow felt like trusting him a bit she decided to ask him to be her brother (after all what else will an innocent girl ask if she meets an guy older than her and feels connected), that's when the guy confessed his feelings to her and told her that it's not like that he doesn't want to be her brother but he likes her and he doesn't know when and how it started.

Then instead of insisting him to be her brother she decided to ask him to be her friend and know her better and then decide, it was an usual evening and they talking as usual too when he said that "whoever gets you will be a really lucky guy" and she replied "you might be the lucky guy" she didn't know that why did she say that but she didn't regret it and was instead happy. That app was not a good one since it was full of weird and bad people so both of them changed to another app but didn't uninstall that cause they don't wanna loose their precious memories there. The most ironic thing in their relationship was that James neither knew her real name nor he saw her before because she never let him know and when he asked her she told him that she will tell him when the time comes and surprisingly James waited for her to trust him and tell him herself he never pestered her. It's been one month to their relationship which means only two weeks left for her exam. She started trusting and loving James more and more, so she decided to tell him her name.

Now except her mother she has another person for whom she needs to live in this world, She had told James not everything yet but she told him about her attempt and he told her that no matter what he is there for her and she must never try anything like this again and then encouraged for her upcoming exams. Since it was her exam time they weren't able to spend much time together but still they would have a chat every night going to sleep. Now finally her exams were over and both of them became really close they now started sharing about their families too including her parents divorce and all, things were going pretty well. Rose used tell her mother everything but this is something about which she couldn't tell her yet, though James and Rose loved each and they even wanted to get married in future with their parents permission so they decided to introduce each other to their families after two years when Rose will be an adult, but rose wanted to tell her mother as soon as possible but she didn't have the courage to do so.

So she decided to wait for the right time. They are continuing their relationship as it is, since exams are over they text each other more than usual and talk about a lot things and are willing to face any test from god together fearlessly after all they weren't really meant to even know each other if it wasn't for that app and god. They feared nothing except one thing SOCIETY they might be able to convince their family and pass every test from god but what about the society of course it won't be forever but for a short time only the society will make their life a living hell especially for James if they get to know about their relationship because James is an adult man 26 years old and Rose a 16 year girl who is just a teenager and not an adult. As per society how can James a grown man ask a little girl to be in a relationship and how can a little girl like Rose get to know him and even agreed to be with him. Both of them and their parents would be criticized and tortured mentally by the Society. James is Rose's first love where it isn't the same for James and Rose knows everything about it James had already told their relationship is just like a beautiful diamond and I hope they can treasure it instead of losing it in the society. They don't know about the future but they want to try their very best to be able to be with each other. I am pretty sure that god will bless them with a beautiful future together.

I don't think that they made a wrong choice by doing this because SOCIETY will not be the one to live the with you afterwards but the decisions which you made cause of what would the society think or say will be affecting your life and you will regretting most of them but if you do the other way around balance your heart and brain together and then make a decision you surely won't regret them in your lifetime. So I think that James and Rose should not think about the society but about themselves and believe each other and god they can even fight the society and their families should trust them too. 

Hope you will balance your heart and mind before making any decision too instead of thinking about the Society,afterall we make the society so if we change one by one then won't the society change too and won't we be happy and blessed altogether.
