Long ago in a kingdom, a queen gave birth to a girl whose skin was as white as snow; her hair was as black as a raven and her lips were as red as a rose. Sadly, the queen died after giving birth. The girl was named Snow White. A year later the king married a beautiful but haughty woman.

The queen was conceited about her beauty and couldn't bear that anyone else should surpass her beauty. She had a magic mirror. Every morning she stood before it, looked at herself, and said, "Mirror Mirror on the wall, who in this land is fairest of all?” The reply would always be, "You are, your Majesty." The queen was satisfied with this reply for she knew that the mirror spoke the truth.

Snow White grew up and became more beautiful than the queen. One day when the queen asked the mirror, it answered, "Your Majesty is fair, it's true, but Snow White is a thousand times fairer than you." The queen went furious and wild with jealousy after hearing this. She ordered a huntsman to take Snow White into the woods, kill her and bring back her heart as a proof. But when the huntsman reached the forest with Snow White, he took pity on her and set her free.

Scared Snow White wandered alone in the forest. She ran as far as her feet could carry her, and just as she was about to fall she saw a tiny cottage. She was hungry and tired so she went inside to rest. She saw that everything in the house was small. She ate fruits kept on a table and went to sleep. She was awakened by murmurs. She got up and saw seven dwarfs standing beside her. After telling them her story, the dwarfs told her to stay with them.

After some days, when the queen asked the mirror, it replied, "Snow White, who lives in the woods, is the fairest of them all". The queen was irate. She went to the forest, turned herself into an old lady and poisoned some apples to feed Snow White. She searched for Snow White in the forest and when she found her she acted as if she was selling apples and told Snow White to taste them. Snow White was about to taste the poisoned apple but suddenly she got scared as a spider fell on it. Snow White bought all the apples from the old lady as she felt sorry for her whereas the queen just wished that Snow White ate the poisoned apples. Then Snow white returned to her cottage.

After dinner, Snow White gave apples to the dwarfs. One of them took a bite and fell unconscious. He seemed to be under a spell. When Snow White told the story of an old lady selling apples, they figured that it must be the devilish queen who did this. They decided to teach the queen a lesson.

After some days, the queen arranged a party for the king who won a battle and was returning from it. Snow White and the seven dwarfs decided to gatecrash this party and unmask the queen in front of the king. So all of them went to the party in disguise. As the king approached the queen for a dance, there was an outbreak. Snow White went to the king and told him the queen’s wrongdoing.

The king didn't believe at first. When Snow White forced the queen to eat the poisoned apple, she refused and the king was shocked. Suddenly, the queen started chanting some spells. Snow White saw that the queen’s necklace glowed due to magic so she ran towards the queen, removed her necklace and broke it. With this, the magic was gone, the dwarf came back to life and the queen turned into an old woman. The king ordered the soldiers to put the queen in dungeons. The king hugged Snow White and they both danced to the music.
