Rumour Of Magic

One night, I heard some unclear voice people outside my window were uttered, that woman is magician she knows magic! Don't go near her! she will definitely kill you. I couldn't understand anything and started looking outside the window. I saw a group of people were speaking in a very low voice. As there was darkness on the street, I couldn't see their faces clearly. Perhaps they were making a plan to catch that lady. I decided to know the exact thing.

On the next day, I went to nearby market to buy some essential items for my home. I saw some people were pelting stones to an old woman who even couldn't walk properly. I tried to stop them and save that old woman.

Then I asked took the old woman to a safe place where she felt relaxed and said, thank you very much for saving me. I asked why they were doing so with you? 

The old woman started crying and said, it's a story of long long ago when I was living in a small village in Kanpur. Everyone, in my family were very happy and we were very rich and prosperous. My father-in-law was a zamindar of our village. Then one day, an incident occurred in our lives which brought disaster in our lives. Then I asked, what had happened? The old woman then said crying, one day a group attacked our family and destroyed our properties completely and killed all members of my family.

Then started searching me to kill, but I was able to flee So, they couldn't find me. But after so many years they found me here and wanted to kill me and condemning me that I am practicing Magic and spreading this wrong information everywhere so that no one would give me shelter and when people see me, they will kill me without thinking anything.

They were not good people, they were decoits and lotted everyone in the city. They spread their people everywhere in this city.

I could understand everything and decided to do something. Then I informed my uncle who was a police commissioner, he took action immediately and all decoits were caught and then the city became free from the rumour of Magic.
