CHAPTER ONE

It was now time for Mrs. Smith to hire new helpers and get rid of the old ones. She likes it when helpers fear her. Each and every three years, she does this exercise to get rid of helpers who grow wings.

Mr. Smith however is always busy at the office and comes home late.

Charlotte, Mr. and Mrs. Smith went to attend Michael's graduation ceremony. Michael finally completed his studies at Hillside University. The helpers however were home, preparing for his surprise welcome party.

When Michael's family arrived at his graduation ceremony, they found that there were a lot of students. At first they could not recognize Michael because all the students wore black and blue gowns. But his mother's intuition lead right to him.

Michael was very excited to see his family present at his graduation ceremony because it was one of his important days.

They hugged Michael tightly to show him that he was really missed. He had been at school for more than five years. He however kept in touch from time to time, but home wasn't home without Michael. Every day his family looked at the calendar, crossing an "X" on a day that passes without him.

All the family members and friends finally sat down in their chairs and watched as the students formed a queue to collect their certificates, degrees and masters qualifications. It was a time when emotionally strong people shed their tears.

The students looked like a herd of cows lining up for a disease prevention. They looked beautiful and colourful like butterflies in a garden of roses and violets. People took photos and videos to capture the beautiful moment.

As soon as the ceremony was complete, Michael was taken to a restaurant for a special meal. The kind of meal that they used to have, several years ago. The taste of the food brought back unique memories. They had a wonderful time that they did not pay attention to time.

Mr. Smith signalled to his wife by tapping on his wrist to show that time was not with them. He also made a gesture, that they needed to leave otherwise the guests would be tired of waiting of waiting for them. Mrs. Smith saw his gesture and understood it. It was like Mr and Mrs Smith were talking in spirit were no one else can hear them.

They got up, paid the bill and went in the car. Few moments later they were on their way going home.

Mrs Smith phoned the head of servants, Lucy. She told Lucy using secret words that, she and her fellow servants should prepare and get everything set for Michael's coming. She spoke like a true code master. Michael was confused to hear her mother talk in a weird way. It was like Mrs Smith was talking in Spanish, French and Chinese. Again it sounded as if she used all the three languages at once. She was careful not to give out any clues of Michael surprise party.

Charlotte and her father understood the code words but they neither paid attention to her nor did they react to her her weird language. They only kept Michael entertained and listened to his crazy University stories. Mr Smith was happy to see his complete family having a great time.

When the car was about one kilometer away from Michael's surprise party, Mrs Smith called the head of servants to inform her of their arrival. Mrs Smith made sure that Michael understood nothing that would ruin the surprise.

They drove passed the open gate and slowly through the driveway. The place kind of looked like a deserted place, the lights were off, it was very quiet, dirty and rusty.

Michael thought that they had moved to a new house, the bell in his head rung when he saw his dog's house that he made when he was ten years old. Few moments later, his dog came running and wagging it's tail in excitement from the backyard.

Charlotte pulled Michael and put him in front of her. This was to indicate that he should open the door. Without hesitation he opened the door and the lights switched on and out of hiding came his friends and relatives and shouted, "SURPRISE!"

Michael was full of joy to see all his friends and relatives there. He hugged them all tightly. Later, Charlotte asked the DJ to play Michael's favorite songs.

Lucy ordered the servants to start performing their assigned tasks. They served drinks, food and punch. The house was full of people that the servants failed to tell whether a person got his food or not.

They started tying special ribbons on a wrist of someone who got food and a drink. This was the order from Lucy. This strange exercise helped the servants. It saved them alot of time identifying the people without food.

The party went on for about five hours. The time was now 12 AM. The guests started leaving after seeing the time on the clock. The guests parked their cars at a car park fifty meters away from Mr Smith's house. This was to avoid ruining the surprise party.

Lucy was commended for her plan of making the place look deserted and her arrangements to entertain and accommodate the guests while Mrs Smith was away. She had again proved why she was the Head Of Servants.

Now that everyone had left, the place looked big again. Wonderful decorations on the wall and ceiling. However, the place needed cleaning up. Lucy ordered her fellow servants to start cleaning while she puts everything back in it's place.

Mrs Smith asked Charlotte were Michael was. But Charlotte replied that she had not seen Michael after she let go of Michael's hand. Mrs Smith started looking for Michael but with no success. She asked Mr Smith but he said almost the same thing as Charlotte.

They looked for Michael from the roof to the ground but he was no where to be seen. Mrs Smith got worried and phoned the police.

CHAPTER TWO

Early in the morning the police arrived at Mrs Smith's house. The house was nice and tidy, everything was was back in it's place. The walls were cleaned, the windows were polished and the floors were mopped.

Two police officers knocked at the door of Mrs Smith's house, one was a man while the other was a woman. Lucy went and opened the door. They came him, Lucy told them to sit as she went to inform Mrs Smith about their arrival.

Mrs Smith came running from her room as soon as she received the massage. She took not more than twenty seconds coming downstairs that normally takes about a minute for a person to come downstairs.

She sat down and made herself comfortable. The police officers greeted Mrs Smith.

"Good morning"

Mrs Smith looked at the officers with anger and asked, "What is good about this morning? My son went missing and you are telling me good morning. How do you think i slept?"

"We are sorry ma'am. We came as soon as we got the orders from the officer in charge," the police officer replied.

Mrs Smith started crying, She got a handkerchief and wiped her tears. She felt like everything was missing from her life. She pulled herself together as she tried to explain what happened last night at her son's surprise party.

She ordered her servant to bring juice for the two officers as she explained to them what happened.

She started explaining while pulling herself together, "Yesterday started out like any other day, except it was a special day because my son was graduating...."

She explained for about twenty minutes. She concluded, "And that is when I called you."

The officers took a sip of the strawberry juice and told her in a calming tone.

"Ma'am, we understand your situation. Every day we receive such reports, people going missing. But as for you, you don't have to worry yet. Your son might have gone with some of his friends... He is a grown man after all. We are going to start our investigation after your son goes missing for 24 hours. As for now, we can't do anything. All we can do is hope that all goes positive," the officers then said to Mrs Smith, "We will take our leave now."

The officers went out in the some way they came in. Mrs Smith was still crying because Michael had not called to let her know of his whereabouts. She understood that Michael was a grown man but he shouldn't have left without informing his parents.

Charlotte was in her room. She too was hoping that Michael would come. She cried for some time and pulled herself together. She did not go out of her room that day. She kept on staring at the photos that they took at the graduation ceremony. Mrs Smith went to Charlotte's room and comforted her. They both stared at the pictures of Michael.

Mr Smith went to work early before the officers showed up. He was not present in his work. He only thought of his son all time he worked. It was not easy for him to work with distractions in his mind. He left his secretary, Mercy, in charge of his work. She had worked for Mr Smith for about five years now. He went home knowing that his work was in perfect hands.

The family had a hard time believing that their son was missing. Every minute Charlotte checked her phone to see if Michael would call or text her. But every time she checked, she found nothing. This made her weak and helpless.

The moment they were facing was similar to the dark ages. Everything stopped making sense, time seemed to be moving at the same pace as a snail, maybe even slower. Mrs Smith refused to dine without Michael by her side.

The day went by without them noticing. No one called them to give them any information about Michael. The police officers went num and time was running out. Mrs Smith was worried, she wondered whether Michael even ate. If he drunk water or not. But one thing they had was the hope of finding him soon.

Mr Smith knew that he had to do something before it was too late. He had some old friends that could help him out in the situation he is in. He decided that it was time to do something because it was now 26 hours and Michael was still missing.

CHAPTER THREE

A week had passed since Michael disappeared from his own house. It was hard for any member of the house to explain how Michael could have disappeared right under their noses. The stories that they made to try and explain how Michael might have disappeared sounded ridiculous.

The house was once again lonely without Michael. It seemed as if Michael was the key to their happiness. The house was quiet and cold despite the sun shining outside.

Michael's birthday was coming up in one week. He was going to be 25 years old. It was difficult for Mrs Smith to imagine, celebrating Michael's birthday without any hope of him returning. All what Mrs Smith wanted was Michael to return home without scratches.

On a Sunday morning, Mr Smith decided to take a morning stroll down the street. Mrs Smith was sleeping, she did not hear her husband walk out. She was so deep in her sleep. She was dreaming that Michael had returned home. The dream was pleasing to her that she never wanted to wake up and see that Michael was still missing.

Mr Smith walked around the street for about two hours. He walked as if he was lost, he turned at any corner that was available, whether right or left. He never seemed to care.

He then later came across a Cafe Shop. It was old and small. The chairs were put outside together with white tables. Although it was old and small it was parked up with people. Fortunately there were two empty seats facing each other. He walked towards the chair, pulled it and sat down. He called the waiter and placed his order.

"A strong red wine with a side of salads, please," he ordered.

Although he ordered the salads, he denied it. He told the waiter that he only asked for wine. The waiter quickly apologized and took the salads away. It was because he thought of Michael that he made such a ridiculous mistake. He couldn't help himself.

Mr Smith started drinking his wine like there was no tomorrow. He was stressed.

The sun was shining at a cool temperature. He enjoyed the sun bath.

All of a sudden, there was a huge shadow covering him. It was like a beast was standing behind him. He felt the coldness from his shoulders down to his feet. He realized that someone was standing behind him. He was furious and disgusted by such a rude approach.

Then as he was thinking of a way of teaching the person behind him a lesson, he heard the man speak softly.

"Foxie, when are you going to grow?" he asked.

Mr Smith's anger quickly turned into happiness. He knew that statement from anywhere. He knew that, there was non other than George Müllar teasing him.

When Mr Smith was young, he used to be cunning and played dangerous pranks on people. He was given a nickname, Fox. It had been ages since he heard someone calling him that name.

He turned his head like a giraffe trying to fight another giraffe. He was happy to see his childhood friend, George.

George had really gained weight. He looked like a hippo with his huge head and pot belly. He wore a black suit with a white shirt and a red neck tie. He was wearing spectacles and had both his hands in his pockets. He stood like a man ready for a Judgement.

George later sat down next to Mr Smith.

"Careful not to break the chair," Mr Smith joked.

"Don't worry, I'm not that fat," they laughed.

"Care for a drink?" Mr Smith asked.

"No thanks, I'm on a diet," George replied. They both laughed.

Few moments later, George asked, " How is Michael? Sorry i never came to the graduation ceremony i was - - - " George stopped when he saw tears in Mr Smith's eyes. He broke down after seeing his friend in tears.

George asked in a comforting tone, "Why are you crying, Smith?"

"It's a long story," he replied.

George made himself comfortable on the chair and asked the waiter for a wine glass. When the waiter came, George poured himself some wine and said to Mr Smith.

"I have all the time."

Mr Smith wiped his tears and started explaining to George what happened that day, from the graduation ceremony to the time Mrs Smith asked him about Michael.

After explaining to George, Mr Smith was in tears. George was touched. George loved Michael so much. Back when Michael was a kid, Mr Smith and George taught Michael how to ride a bicycle.

George said, "You know Smith, i was in Canada for the past few years, I came here because I'm on a vacation. I can tell you that these things happen in Canada than anywhere else. I face these things every day."

Mr Smith was confused. He asked George what he meant. It was like he said that Lions and the Zebras are friends.

"But what does that mean?" Mr Smith asked curiously.

George coughed and said, "I'm a detective Smith. I face these things every day. It's just unfortunate that it happened to you."

Mr Smith had a big smile on his face. It was like he was told that Michael came home. He quickly asked George for help.

"Will you please help me find Michael," asked Mr Smith.

"Yes I will," he said with gratitude. He then continued, "One small problem."

"What?" Mr Smith asked.

"I was supposed to go back to Canada tomorrow. I just wanted to to say hi to few friends before I came across you. I don't have money or anywhere to sleep," he said to Mr Smith.

Mr Smith with gratitude said, "What are friends for? You can come and stay with us until we find Michael. I'm sure my Wife would be excited to know that you are a detective," he then said, "We informed the police officers but nothing happened."

George then mocked, "Never put your trust in Police Officers, Smith."

Mr Smith went to collect George's luggage at his apartment and headed to Mr Smith's house.

On the way home, Mr Smith phoned his wife and told her everything. She was delighted. It was like light was shed in a dark cave.

Mrs Smith quickly told Lucy to give orders to her servants about George's coming. The servants cleaned the guest room and cooked lunch. The room was ready for George.

It took them about three hours to walk home from the Cafe Shop. It was enough time for Mr Smith and George to catch up on life.

CHAPTER FOUR

When Mr Smith and George entered the house, some servants welcomed them and got the luggage. They took the luggage to the guest room.

Charlotte and Mrs Smith came downstairs and welcomed George. They were happy to see George.

Mrs Smith was filled with hope again. She hoped that Michael would now be found because George was home and that he turned out to be a Professional Detective. She had a reason to smile again. Everyone was happy to see a new character in Mrs Smith. They all hoped that George's visit would be a positive move to finding Michael.

Mrs Smith told George to make himself at home. He was served, a vintage wine with biscuits. He enjoyed and appreciated the hospitality.

When he looked around the house, he saw photos of Michael when he was a young boy. He assumed that Michael was 10 to 15 years old when the photos were taken. He saw that Charlotte's photos were up to date.

They had their lunch. As they eat, they saw that Michael's chair was still empty. Michael's mother got emotional and started sobbing. She thought to herself, " I'm eating, yet I don't even know whether Michael had breakfast." She was comforted by her husband. They continued eating but Mrs Smith lost her appetite. She excused herself and went upstairs.

When it was noon, George decided it was now time to start investigating Michael's disappearance. He asked Mr Smith to call all the visitors that were present at Michael's surprise party. Mr Smith pulled out a paper containing Fifty names.

Several minutes later the visitors started showing up one by one. They were instructed to settle down on the chairs that were put outside the house. There were five rows and five columns of blue garden chairs under a tent. They waited until all fifty of them came. It took about two hours for them to be in full. All the servants were standing behind the guests like they were body guards.

All the visitors were welcomed by George. He sat in front of the crowd with Mr and Mrs Smith. George was in the middle of the two. George was standing as he talked to the crowd.

"Hi Everyone. My name is George Müllar and I'm a detective from Canada," there was authority in his voice, "I know that you are all aware of Michael's disappearance. I need you to help me with the angles. I'm going to ask you questions which you must answer truthfully. Any information will be highly appreciated."

He then started calling the names on the list one after the other and asked the same question.

"Where did you last see Michael?"

The replies that he got was similar to the other. Others said they saw him with Charlotte taking photos. Others said they saw Michael dancing with his friends. Yet others said they saw him talking to his family. When George asked Mr and Mrs Smith whether this was true or not. They said it was true. He continued asking the question.

One person did not answer the question he was asked but it turned out to be helpful to George. He was the forty eighth person to give a statement. He said, "I think this might be helpful. When I was going out, I saw that Michael's dog was barking at a certain man. I didn't see his face because he wore a face mask and a hoodie. I was far away to do anything. I only saw the number plate of the car. It was RIM 120911. The car drove eastwards."

George was impressed. He finally found the first clue. He took his notebook and wrote down the number plate. He then thanked the person for giving him such heavy information. The person who gave George the first clue was Jones.

He continued with the last two visitors. Their information was not helpful but he appreciated their effort. George was interested in Jones information. He had that smile on his face that gave hope to Michael's family.

He turned and said to Mr Smith, "No matter how clever a Criminal is, he always leaves behind some dirt. Always..." He then assured them, "Don't worry there is hope now."

George also asked all ten servants the same question. They replied that they were serving the guests food. They said that they were too busy to even notice Michael's whereabouts.

Michael then thanked all the guests and told them to go. Before they left, George got Jone's number. George told Jones that he should expect his call anytime.

In no time, the yard was empty again. The only things that were there, were empty chairs and a tent.

George went to "Car Foundations" immediately after the visitors left. He went together with Mr Smith in a grey van. As they were driving, they wondered who that person with a face mask was. Mr Smith was the one driving the car.

When they arrived at the "Car Foundations," they went inside the General Office.

They entered the office and sat down as they waited for the person in charge. The office was modest and warm with the ancient decorations hanging on the walls. It was full of computers and printers. The computers were quite big and looked old but they performed important tasks.

In the coners of the office, there were books for different car brands. The smell of books reminded George of his office. They had a similar dusty scent. George was smiling like he saw something interesting. Mr Smith sat next to George on a comfortable office chair. The wind blew in slowly and sweetly through the wide open window.

The owner finally came in and apologized for his late coming.

"Sorry gentlemen, I was a bit busy. I didn't expect to see anyone at this time." He sat down gently without making a sound.

He asked them, "What can I do for you today?"

George replied, "I want you to check for the owner of a car. I have the license plate number here with me." George handed the paper to him. It was written on a board that he was Mr. Evans.

Mr Evans got the paper and typed the car details on the computer. He's hands moved on the keyboard like a snake in the grass. His eyes were focused on the screen. He was like a superhero of computers. He sipped a cup of coffee and pushed the print button on the printer. Out came a thick brown paper with holes in it's margin on the other side of the table. Mr Evans got the print out and handed it to George.

"Here you go," Mr Evans concluded.

George quickly got the paper and was shocked to see what was printed.

CHAPTER FIVE

George was confused after seeing what was on the paper. It was like he saw a ghost on the paper. He turned to look at Mr Smith.

Mr Smith asked what was on the paper, but George handed the paper to Mr Smith. It was like he wanted Mr Smith to read for himself.

Mr Smith got the paper work. He read:

Vehicle make: Audi

License plate number: RIM 120911

Registered date: 2015

Owner: Jordan Smith

Mr Smith was confused. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. Mr Smith recalled registering a car but the details were false. Everything was right apart from the license plate number.

George said, "Don't worry Smith, I will clear this misunderstanding," George spoke to Mr Evans. He asked him to check the details again. But every time the details came out the same.

Mr Smith was tired of seeing the false document so he told George that it was getting late. They both went out and drove away. Mr Smith was confused, "I don't have such a license number, that was all fake. What was the meaning of that?" he asked. But George told Mr Smith not to worry.

George started telling Mr Smith a story:

"You see Smith. You remind me of my sister, Emily. She was just like you, sweet, loving and hard-working. She was married to a faithful man, Joseph. They had a son and a sweet daughter. I was actually a bad brother, I never even visited my sister when she gave birth. Years later I heard that my sister died. Joseph moved because he couldn't bear the pain of been reminded of her loving wife. Since then i haven't heard from him," George was in tears. Mr Smith pulled over to comfort George.

As they reached home, Mrs Smith was waiting in the living room. When she saw them, she quickly asked them what they found. But George suggested not to tell her anything. He told Mr Smith that they should investigate more before digesting anything. Mr Smith cooked up a lie which Mrs Smith bought. Everything was under control again.

They sat down for supper. But again Mrs Smith lost her appetite after seeing Michael's empty seat. She went upstairs. Lucy gave the order to take the food upstairs to Mrs Smith's bedroom. At least there she could have her dinner in peace without being reminded of Michael.

Mr Smith told George that they should pull up their game. He wasn't happy seeing what was happening. Charlotte refused to eat, his wife lost her appetite and later he finds out that the car he hoped to lead them to the kidnapper was registered in his name. He was stressed. He's mind was full of thoughts.

Mr Smith said good night to George and went in his study room. He started reading some books. Meanwhile George was tired because he had a long day. He went and slept but his ears were open.

The night went by quickly without Michael. Everyone was sleeping as the gentle wind was blowing outside. The night was so quiet that you could only hear crickets and frogs. There were no movements of any kind only creatures producing their natural sounds.

It was a bright summer morning, the sun was shining in the horizon. Flowers were blooming and butterflies flew in their natural spectacular order. The windows were wide open and the morning air freshened the house.

Mr Smith was so tired that he slept in his study room buried in his favorite books. Although he slept like a puppy on the floor he never minded. He had a lot of things on his mind that even sleeping was no longer an option. He was willing to sleep anywhere, on the floor, in the kitchen, corridor and even the dining room. For as long as he could put his head on something, his was fine with it.

The phone rung in Mr Smith's study room. He woke up and behaved like a baby elephant, no idea where he was. After smelling the morning fresh air he finally realized something. It was like he was hit on the head with a golf stick. All his senses came to him like a flash of lightning.

Mr Smith realized that no one else knows about his study room phone number apart from his wife. He walked towards the phone and picked up the phone to answer.

"Hello?" he answered curiously. He thought for a while, because there was silence on the phone. No one replied. He was confused. He was about to put down the phone when he heard someone talk.

"Jordan Smith," the man on the other side of the phone said. His voice was very deep and scary. He spoke very slowly and clearly:

"I will not rest until I get what I want."

"What? Who are you? What do you want? I will give you money. Just name your amount," Mr Smith questioned and offered the man on the other side of the phone. Mr Smith was certainly sure that he was the kidnapper.

The man on the other side of the phone laughed. He hung up the phone and there was a loud beep noise coming from the phone. Mr Smith was terrified, "what could the man want?" he thought.

Minutes later Mr Smith's cell phone rung. He saw who it was and answered the call. His lawyer was the one calling him. Unfortunately it was not a good call. Mr Smith was about to receive bad news.

"Hello Mr Martin." Mr Smith answered.

"Sir, I have some bad news," Mr Martin said in a scary tone.

"What Martin? Tell me!" Mr Smith yelled at him.

"Sir, the Invisible Case has been put in motion," he replied.

Mr Smith got angry and yelled, "What? Who on Earth did that?"

"It says here that it is Kimberly, Sir," the lawyer suggested, "Sir, this conversation is confidential. I suggest you come to my office and talk face to face."

"Not today. I will be there tomorrow evening. In the meantime do whatever you can to shut it down!" Mr Smith ordered.

George, Charlotte and Mrs Smith heard Mr Smith yelling, they quickly ran to him. They found him looking outside the window. They asked him why he was yelling but he replied that it was only office work. But George did not believe him, he told Charlotte to bring water for Mr Smith. Mrs Smith was asked to leave them both alone. She refused but after sometime she went away.

Moments later, Charlotte brought water for Mr Smith and went out. Mr Smith drunk his water, he was now steady and calm. George then asked Mr Smith to tell him what happened.

"Smith, tell me what happened. Did you perhaps receive a call from anyone or anything to do with your son? If such things happen, you need to tell me. These are the clues we want. These are the dirt we want."

Mr Smith told George about the man on the phone. He told George that he sounded scary. Mr Smith explained while making gestures.

"What time did you receive the call?" George asked.

"About ten minutes ago," he replied.

George thought for a while and said, "Ok, I will connect my phone to your phone network. This will let me hear what you hear. So that the next time he calls, I will be ready for him."

Mr Smith agreed to the plan. He did not tell George about the lawyer's call. He figured that he would handle it alone. He thought that there was no need to involve George in it. Except when it becomes a big problem.

It was now evening. The day continued in it's mysterious ways. George went out to meet with Jones to find out more about the person he saw that night. Mrs Smith was home with Charlotte. The servants took care of them.

Mr Smith phoned Mercy to find out how the work was going.

"Hello Mercy?"

"Hello, Sir," she answered.

"How are you doing?" He greeted her.

"I'm doing fine, Sir," she responded quickly.

"How is work? Is it difficult?" He asked while he chuckled softly

"No Sir. I'm managing," she sounded delighted.

"Ok, that's good. Listen Mercy. I need you to mail me the documents titled "Smith Industrialization" from the secretary's office. I need to sign some important papers."

"Ok Sir. When do you need them?" She asked.

"Before the end of this week," he said.

"Ok Sir." The conversation ended.

CHAPTER SIX

As promised Mr Smith went to see his lawyer, Mr Martin. Before he went, his wife pulled out a nice suit from the laundry. He looked very confident and handsome in a black suit and a white shirt with a blue neck tie. He drove his grey Audi.

George also had to meet a technician to help him connect with Mr Smith's phone.

Mr Smith reached his destination. He walked in Mr Martin's office with great authority. Everyone admired his confident walk. They were all amazed. He left them in pure amazement with his black ancient Mexican shoes.

When he walked in Mr Martin's office, he found him reading something. He was so focused that he didn't hear Mr Smith entering his office. He only noticed Mr Smith as he sat down in front of him in an office chair. Mr Smith was noticed because the chair he sat on, produced a squeaking sound.

Mr Martin welcomed Mr Smith with a smile on his face. The office was quite small for a lawyer like Mr Martin. Some books were on the floor.

"Martin, tell me. Who is this Kimberly?" Mr Smith got right to point without wasting time.

"Sir, I don't know. I was just reading about her before you came in." He handed the document to Mr Smith and said, "It says that she is a citizen of Australia."

"But what does she want, Martin?" Mr Smith asked.

"I don't know Sir."

"Does she have a last name?" Mr Smith asked Mr Martin.

"No Sir. It's only an Initial. She's Kimberly W."

"What about a picture of her?"

"No Sir, there's no picture attached. I actually received a phone call from her. She knows what happened in 2011. She said that if you don't confess and set things right, she will do it for you."

"I thought we buried that years ago."

"Yes we did, but somehow she found out. And she says she wants Justice." They continued talking for an hour. Mr Smith later concluded, "And that is why I say ...No one must find out, Martin. Do whatever you can to destroy her. I don't have time for this, after all, I have a son to find." Mr Smith stormed out of the office.

He drove out of the gate and went home. He was tired, he took a bath and waited for George. It was about 10pm when George came back home. He told Mr Smith that he managed to connect the phone's network to his phone.

George told Mr Smith, " Whenever a private number calls, you should inform me." Mr Smith agreed.

Later that day, Mrs Smith was talking to her husband. She told him that a letter came in the mail box. The letter was directed to Mr Smith. He asked where the letter was, Mrs Smith gave him the letter. He looked at it and almost fainted but Mrs Smith was there to hold him. She called Lucy to bring water for Mr Smith. She quickly brought a full glass of water and gave it to Mr Smith. He drunk the water, gave the cup back and Lucy was on her way.

Mrs Smith asked what was wrong but Mr Smith said that he was only stressed. Mr Smith went in his study room.

On the mail, there was the following information:

From: Kimberly .W.

Address: RIM 120911 Australia / Sydney.

To: Jordan Smith.

Address: 1309 New York.

"Make things right or I will do it for you"

Mr Smith was confused. He didn't believe what he was seeing. He thought maybe he was dreaming. He knew that this was a problem. He now needed help. He thought of a way to tell George, minus him knowing everything about the Invisible Case. He folded the letter and hid it in his pocket.

Moments later, Mr Smith received a call from a private number. He immediately summoned George as he was told. George came as quickly as possible. He told Mr Smith to answer the phone. George was also listening to their conversation.

"Hello?"

"Yes, Mr Smith. You decided to involve George in your doing. Anyway, I suggest that you make things right or I will do it for you." The man hung up the phone. Mr Smith was terrified.

George asked what that statement meant but Mr Smith said he had no idea what the man was talking about.

They were confused. They thought that the man was going to demand for money. But it seemed like he wasn't interested in money. The technician however managed to record the man's voice. He sent George the results of the search program.

The owner of the voice was Kimberly .W. with an identity number RIM 120911. This was the same number that Jones gave them, the same number that Mr Evans gave them and the same number that he received on the letter. Mr Smith was confused while George was smiling.

"Why are you smiling?" Mr Smith asked with a confused face.

"As I said before, No matter how clever a Criminal might be, they always leave behind some dirt. We just have to find out who this Kimberly is." Mr Smith was happy to hear that. He was happy because he didn't have to tell George anything now. George really was a professional detective.

Three days letter Mr Smith received the documents that he asked for from Mercy. He signed the documents and mailed them back to Mercy the following day.

George on the other hand was busy trying to find Kimberly. His intuition kept telling him that somehow Kimberly was involved in Michael's disappearance.

It seemed like everyone was busy in the Smith house. Everyone had a task to do.

CHAPTER SEVEN

It had now been two months since Michael disappeared from the house. The news spread out quickly like a wild fire. Everyone got concerned about Michael. They didn't know whether Michael was alive or dead.

His birthday passed and everyone in the Smith's house was in tears. They had made plans earlier when Michael was still at University that they would celebrate his birthday with him, for it had been long since they celebrated his birthday with him.

Michael's mother wasn't herself since Michael disappeared. She broke down into pieces. All her ruthlessness had turned into sorrow. Although Michael was not around, her intuition kept telling her that Michael would return home

Charlotte was a strong lady. She managed to comfort everyone in the house, while hiding her pain. As a sister, that's the least she could do.

One evening, George was reading a book in his room when Mr Smith entered. Mr Smith was very angry. He couldn't help himself but wonder why George was reading Mr Smith's diary. He walked towards George and grabbed his diary from him.

He said out of anger, "What do you think you are doing, George?"

George tried to explain but Mr Smith interrupted, "It's been two months since my son disappeared. And what are you doing? You are reading my diary, you think you are going to find Michael in my diary? he then turned around and said, "First thing tomorrow morning, you are leaving."

George was confused. He walked in front of Mr Smith and asked, "What are you saying, Smith?"

"I want you out of my house. You have helped us enough. But you failed to find my son. I'll find my son alone!" Mr Smith said in anger.

George was hurt but he didn't show it. He let his dark side speak, "Smith, I'm trying my level best to find Michael. But you can't see it because you are not a detective, are you?" He continued, "I would have found him weeks ago but there is one thing that you are not telling me. And if I don't know, them we won't find him."

Mr Smith got more angry and said, "I have a family to look after, but you, what happened to your sister? Your sister died because of your carelessness, where were you? Oh wait, you were wasting time trying to find someone, when you should have been with your sister!"

George felt the anger running through his veins. Adrenaline rushing through his body. His eyes turned red. He made fists with his hands. He was very furious. He looked like a wounded buffalo ready to fight.

George controlled his anger and walked outside of the house and sat down on the verandah. George never liked to hear bad things about his sister, Emily.

Minutes later, Lucy was taking out the trash when she saw George sitting on the verandah. She went and asked.

"Sir, why are you sitting down here?" she continued, "It's a bit cold out here."

"I'm just thinking about something. I'll go inside soon," he replied. Lucy went inside. George watched the sunset. It was amazing, it was like watching butterflies fly. The evening air calmed George and he went inside to his room.

Later that night, George was packing. Mrs Smith was about to go downstairs when she saw him packing. She went inside and asked why he was packing. George explained everything to her. Mrs Smith pleaded with George not to go. She told him something that changed his mind.

Mrs Smith said while crying, "George, you are the only one that can find my son. I don't trust my husband anymore."

George got concerned and asked, "What do you mean?"

Mrs Smith sat down on the bed and started explaining, "Every night, my husband talks on the phone with his lawyer about the "Invisible Case," he says that no one should find out about it."

George asked, "What is the "Invisible Case?"

"I don't know, I think it has something to do with Michael's disappearance. Please don't go, find my son. Please," Mrs Smith pleaded.

George said that the next day he will do as he was told by Mr Smith, but he will book an apartment near the Smith's house so that he could continue looking for Michael. Mrs Smith agreed, she went out while George continued packing.

CHAPTER EIGHT

George booked a room about 2 kilometers from Mr Smith's house. Mr Smith had no idea that George booked a room. The following day, George left Mr and Mrs Smith's house and walked to his new apartment.

George was not upset, because he knew that someday he was going to be sent out. He was used to such situations.

Three days later, George went to Mrs Smith's house and asked for a car. Mrs Smith asked why George wanted the car at that time. George tried making up an excuse, but Mrs Smith never bought them. George finally told her the reason.

He explained, "Today your husband was talking on the phone with an unknown person. That person said that Smith should go alone to a warehouse. I'm sure it has something to do with Michael."

Mrs Smith asked, "How did you know all this?"

He replied with a big detective smile on his face, "I connected to his phone few weeks ago."

Mrs Smith made a condition, "If I give you the car keys, then I will go with you. This concerns my son."

George tried to reason with her but she refused. George had no other option but to accept the condition.

They followed Mr Smith to a warehouse. Mr Smith came out of the car and went inside the warehouse, George and Mrs Smith followed behind.

It was a very big warehouse with Windows close to the roof. It didn't smell as bad as they had imagined. It was actually a friendly warehouse. It was very dark, so Mr Smith used his phone as a flashlight. George and Mrs Smith followed Mr Smith's light. They tiptoed carefully behind Mr Smith.

Mrs Smith hit a tin of cookies which made noise. Mr Smith looked back and saw Mrs Smith and George. He got angry and started yelling at them.

"What are you doing here?" Mr Smith asked. Before they could answer him, they saw a flashlight pointing at Michael.

Michael was tied to a chair, blind folded and seal tapped on the month. He looked to be fine. There was no scratch on him.

Suddenly, a lady walked in and stood behind Michael. Mrs Smith thought that she was dreaming. She was about to run to Michael when the lady behind Michael yelled, "Stop!" there was authority and anger in her voice.

They all stood still. Mrs Smith couldn't hold her tears as she saw Michael in his current situation. One thing that they noticed was that, the lady's voice sounded very familiar.

Few seconds later, the lights turned on in the warehouse. The warehouse was actually a nice place. It was very simple and tidy. They were surprised to see the lady.

They saw Lucy standing behind Michael.

Mrs Smith asked, "Lucy, What are you doing here? It's too dangerous." Mrs Smith tried to run to Michael for the second time when Lucy yelled, "I said stop!" They were all shocked.

Mrs Smith asked, "What do you mean, Lucy?" Lucy smiled and said, "It is good that the entire family is here."

"What? Charlotte is not here," corrected George. As soon as he finished talking, Charlotte walked in and went to her mother. Charlotte was hiding in the car because she heard Mrs Smith and George talking about going to find Michael.

Charlotte wanted to run to Michael when Lucy yelled for the third time, "I said stop!"

Mrs Smith asked, "Why Lucy?"

Lucy got angry and said, "Who is Lucy?"

"What do you mean?" asked Mrs Smith.

Then George asked, "What are you talking about?"

"I'm not Lucy, I'm Kimberly. Kimberly Williams," said Kimberley.

CHAPTER NINE

Everyone was shocked to hear the things she said. Mr Smith felt like disappearing. Fear spread all over his face. He started sweating. He's legs started shaking like he was in cold ice.

Mrs Smith asked with a confused face, " What are you talking about?"

Kimberly got a chair, sat on it and started explaining:

"In 2011 on a Wednesday morning it was my brother's birthday. I had made plans for him for that day. I wanted to buy him a birthday cake. In the afternoon I went with him to a cake shop. He insisted that he would wait outside. I agreed.

"As I was coming out from the shop, I saw that my brother was window shopping across the street. On my left hand side, I saw a car driving towards My brother, Dan. The car showed no signs of slowing down. In a blink of an eye my brother was ran over by the some car I saw.

"I was devastated. As I ran towards Dan, the man in the car drove away. I stopped to see who it was. I saw a face that I will never forget.

"I saw Mr Smith driving away. He didn't even care to see whether Dan was alive or dead.

"When we took Dan to the hospital, he was already dead. Dan died on his birthday. My mom, Emily Williams, had a heart attack and died on the spot.

"My Dad, Joseph Williams, later decided that we move to Australia and start a new life.

"Wait!" George interrupted and asked ," Emily Williams was your mother?"

Kimberly replied, "Yes my dear Uncle, she was my mother," Kimberly continued, "Ever since that day. I have always wanted to see Mr Smith behind bars. I started my training as a detective, then I studied law so that I can use these two skills to find one person who separated my family.

"I knew that it wasn't going to be easy. I started searching for Jordan Smith. After I found out where he was, I sent Mercy to you. Mercy helped me by giving me information about your employment exercise, that you employ new servants every after three years. I knew that, that was a golden opportunity for me to enter your house. I waited for three years. I applied for the job and I made sure that I got the job.

"Phase one was a success. I started executing other phases. I found out which child you loved the most. It turned out that Michael was the one you loved dearly. It also turned out that you loved Michael more than Kimberly because you wanted a male child to take over your company.

"On the day of his surprise party, I tied ribbons on everyone, but I tied a special ribbon on Michael. It was a tracker. This was to make sure that my men track Michael's movements and capture him when no one expected it. This operation was successful because Michael went to feed his dog.

"The first thing that I did was to give those two police officers drug pills that made them sick. I wanted them out of the way because I wanted my Uncle George to be involved in this case. I wanted him to know why his sister died.

"I made plans to bring him to New York without him knowing. This was possible because of my Germany friends. My Uncle thought it was a vacation. But no, it was not a vacation for him.

"I knew that Uncle George would take time to find me. That is why I started leading you to me. I did that because I wanted you Four to come here.

" Then I told my friend Jason to give you the first clue, which was him seeing the license plate number RIM 120911. The RIM stands for "Revenge Is Mine." The numbers 120911 is the day that my brother died, 12th September, 2011. Mr Smith ,"Revenge Is Mine."

Mr Smith yelled, "I don't know what Lucy or Whatever she calls herself. I don't know what she is saying!"

Kimberly smiled and said:

"Mr Smith, I was always ahead of you. Do you remember the time you went to see Mr Martin to discuss about the "Invisible Case?"

There was fear in Mr Smith's eyes. It was like he heard a lion roaring in front of him. His heart started beating, he felt the cold air entering through the window.

Kimberly continued, "That was the biggest mistake you ever made. Do you remember the suit you wore that day? I hope you remember. I had a microphone planted in it. I recorded the entire conversation you had with Mr Martin."

Mr Smith was almost having a heart attack. He looked at George, Charlotte and his wife. His fear was visible in his eyes. There was nothing he could do. He stood still.

Kimberly played the recording:

MR SMITH: "Martin, tell me. Who is this Kimberly?"

MR MARTIN: "Sir, I don't know. I was just reading about her before you came in. "It says that she is a citizen of Australia."

MR SMITH: "But what does she want, Martin?"

MR MARTIN: "I don't know Sir."

MR SMITH: "Does she have a last name?"

MR MARTIN: "No Sir. It's only an Initial. She's Kimberly W."

MR SMITH: "What about a picture of her?"

MR MARTIN: "No Sir, there's no picture attached. I actually received a phone call from her. She knows what happened in 2011. She said that if you don't confess and set things right, she will do it for you."

MR SMITH: "I thought we buried that years ago."

MR MARTIN: "Yes we did, but somehow she found out. And she says she wants Justice."

MR SMITH: "We have to end this."

MR MARTIN: "Sir, what will happen after your wife finds out that you stole her company that her father left for her?"

MR SMITH: "That is why I married her. So that I can keep a close eye on her. I don't really love her."

MR MARTIN: "But I hope that Michael's disappearance has nothing to do with this matter."

MR SMITH: "That is why I hired George. He needs to find him before anything happens."

MR MARTIN: "But what if Kimberly is blackmailing you, Sir?"

MR SMITH: "If I managed to steal Tess's company and married her, think of what I can do to you. If I go down, I'm taking you with me."

MR MARTIN: "I suggest that you keep watch, Sir. I don't want to go to prison."

MR SMITH: "And that is why I say ...No one must find out, Martin. Do whatever you can to destroy her. I don't have time for this, after all, I have a son to find."

"Mr Smith you are not only a murderer but also a thief. You stole your wife's company right under her nose. I made that right by telling Mercy to mail you the Transfer Documents instead of the documents you requested for. You signed the documents that day. I hope you remember. I really thought that you would read before signing any papers, but no, you didn't.

"That means you agreed to transfer the company back to your wife, Tess. The company is now in her name."

"I had no problem with your family, that is why I didn't harm Michael. I took care of him like he was my brother. I loved Miss Tess, like she was my mother. I loved Kimberly like she was my sister. But you, you are going to jail for theft and a hit and run case."

They heard police sirens coming from outside the warehouse. Moments later the police came in.

Kimberly asked, "Who do you want to set free Mrs Smith, Michael or your husband?"

Mrs Smith started sobbing. Charlotte comforted her. Mrs Smith then walked towards Mr Smith and slapped him. She then said, "Officers, take this man away."

Mr Smith was handcuffed by an officer and was being taken away. He looked at George and pleaded, "George please help me, I'm your friend."

George said, "I was looking for a Criminal, but the Criminal was next to me," he then continued in anger, "Smith because of you, I lost my sister. You want me to help you. Sorry I don't help criminals." George then turned and faced the other way.

Kimberly released Michael from the chair. Michael had no scratch on him. Kimberly hugged Michael. Mrs Smith and Charlotte ran to Michael and hugged him tightly.

George went to Kimberly and apologized for everything. She forgave him and hugged him.

They later went back to Mrs Smith's house. Kimberly didn't go back as the head of servants but as a guest. Mr Martin was arrested two days later.
