Quiet Storm

Knocks at my door

  startled me, as I wasn't expecting any company- I slowly made my way to--, another knock came in louder and harder than before. I look out my peep hole,

only to find a finger pressed against it-

Who could this be? -"Who is it?" I asked,

-then I heard a voice-- It shocked me, striking every nerve - as lightening ran throughout my body-- this visitor brought about a quiet storm- I stood hand on the knob, as hesitation took over-- thunder rolled in as he knocked- once more -- before I could open the door- I heard, - " I love you, just thought you should know... I couldn't just call you...I-I had to show.."--I swung open the door to sight for my sore eyes-- his presence a gift, his love for me a prize. This quiet storm- that came about - twas a lovely surprise.
