Precious pictures

A friend of mine shared a memorable picture from exactly ten years ago - it is a picture with many of us from the department of Electronics and Communication, taken on the last day of our exams in the last semester of our Engineering Course.

We were all clad in white - as if making peace with the painful partition and promising to stay connected. Indeed it is wonderful to know that we are all still connected; although ten years seem to have flown by very soon.

We have all come a long way since that day and progressed in various walks of life. Yet a lot seems intact in our bonds- a certain innocence, layers of fun and frolic, a genuine wish to see each other happy and prosperous.

To be honest, looking at the picture brought a smile in my heart and tears in my eyes. Until many years ago, I wasn't very keen on taking many pictures that excitedly as I am today. I always believed that we should live the moment and not get lost taking pictures. How wrong I was! While living in the moment and enjoying it fully cannot be undermined, taking pictures with as much enthusiasm does matter alot. For, much later, like say decades later, it is these pictures that bring back memories. 

Today I feel grateful to my friend who clicked the picture that day and also the friend who shared it with all of us today.
