Pervert in disguise

Nikhil was an Army man.He was a dedicated Soldier who had a family history where many of his relatives were in the army or had been in the army serving the country nand protecting it from enemies.Nikhil was very proud about his ancestors and so chose to serve the Country like them.His father had retired as a lieutenant Colonel recently and wad staying with Nikhil and his beautiful wife who was a well mannered daughter in law .So, everything seems fine to all who know them friends and family. But,there was an issue lurking deep in the mind of Nikhil's better halves mind that was a very dark secret that she had buried in her heart for quite sometime .It was about her respected father in law.She would be taking a big risk ,what if her husband would get offended and so would the other family members. It was a dilemma and distress.Now the reason for all this chaos was what had happened one morning while Nikhil's wife was having her bath.As we know Army officers stay in quarters that are mostly gated communities.The buildings are mostly old and outdated.Nikhil was also put up in one such colony.It was a spacious house with a lot of Greenary around..But one problem was the doors of all the rooms including the doors of the bathrooms and etc.That morning Nikhil's wife was having her bath and she felt someone was at the door .Since Nikhil was away at the training camp she was confused whether it was her misconception about someone's presence at the door.Silencing her senses she continued taking bath and while she was scrubbing her feet ,she was aghast at what she saw.She found her father in law peeping through the gaps into the bathroom where she. Was bathing.For a moment she was dumbstruck not knowing what to do. Her father in law understood that his daughter in law had seen what he was doing and quickly walked away from there.Neeta( Nikhil's wife) finsihed her bathing and hurriedly walked to her room and locked it.Anger,shame,hatred all these feelings were overlapping one another in her mind and heart.How could she face her father in law from now on knowing pretty well that he was a pervert of sorts.Yes,he could eye his daughter in law badly. The relationship was supposed to be sacred between them but he had done something that could not be tolerated nor spoken about to anyone.Neeta (Nikhil's wife) was so happy that she was getting married into a family where most of the men were serving the country in different fileds of army and Airforce.She felt proud among her relatives about the contribution they made to protect the Country from enemies. But ,soon she realised her father in law was a sort of a pervert . His looks towards her made her uncomfortable .She chose to ignore it as it would create some disharmony in the house But after this exposy she had to bury this truth in her heart and it had to be so as a dark secret.She did not want the family's name to be tainted and felt it was a small sacrifice she was making .
