Pagli
Pagli
Pagli was the word ....the world addressed Saloni with.... while she ran....in the rags stained and dirty, untamed hair...mucky face and body...
Pagli was sitting under a tree hungrily wolfing down the stale bread....she found.... some mensceful bunch of kids teased her.... mocked her and pocked fun at her...... derided Saloni as....eh pagal....eh pagli...and chased her away.....Some personages barbarously pelted stones at her..... seeping blood from her torso..... while some good Samaritans though hesitantly and apprehensively... aided her with the basic prerequisites...Saloni scared and shood them away.....
Saloni laughed ominously... shrieked and cried instantaneously ...then would turn silent....look up to the sky and blabber ......bang her hands hard on the ground.... bewilderedly scratched her wild dirty locks...as she strayed and meandered on the streets...
Saloni had no one to look after her... life had not been kind to her.... after the death of her husband...Saloni was in trauma..and couldn't handle the blow of tragedy....she had lost her sanity...and wandered haywire as she talked and murmured.....to herself...Her husband was her only pillar of sustenance...... Gradually things turned worst..... and she had completed lost her normalcy.....
Then one-day Saloni was heaved by the mental health workers to a psychiatric asylum.... while Saloni refrained, protested, and cried like a baby.... she was driven away.... leaving behind some teary eyes ..... waving her goodbye...
