Today, I re-read the suicide letter written on 31st July 2001. It still takes my breath away when I read it. This suicide letter even today makes my hand tremble with all the sweat on my palm. I do not dare to hold it and re-read it. But I must as with this letter my life is attached. How ambitious I became to keep my loved ones happy, and when this ambition got converted into me being a workaholic ignoring them, I did not even realize! When GOD blesses one with something immensely, they forget to value it. So was my case. Holding the letter close to myself, I settled on my couch with the light music playing in the background and closed my eyes. As soon as I entered the trance for peace, one beautiful face came in front of my eyes with a sudden flash. She had a charming smile that can melt anyone's heart away. And suddenly, the face faded away, far away, and within seconds it was gone. Completely scared, I opened my eyes with a gush.

It is the face of the only beauty I came across in my entire life. This beauty was known as SONAL. Sonal was a beautiful girl from an ELITE family. She not only looked like a princess but was also fortunate to be the one with all luxuries. She had never craved anything in her life. Whatever she wanted was always made available. She was very eloquent and had a good sense of humour. She was very understanding and, at the same time, sensitive too. She was very considerate towards others. She valued love more than money. Now fortune comes with few restrictions. She had to follow specific protocols. She was not allowed to play with everyone, especially the working class, like children of maids. Her parents always wanted her to maintain distance and dignity, and she was not allowed to play outside and, for that matter, in mud or clay-like other normal children. She was not allowed to mingle with everyone. She was always kept busy with various activities and different educational classes.

She was growing like a beautiful butterfly with passing years, growing and changing to find its true colours in life. She was finding her wings so that she could fly and soon be on her way. Her life was getting filled with mesmerizing colours. One ritual followed in her life was "In vacations, she usually travelled to Foreign countries." This was a trend her parents followed every year to make sure she spends her vacations abroad. But one particular year, who knew that her destiny was going to get changed! Her passport got expired. So, she could not travel to any foreign country. This was the time when she was in her adolescence and had grown up as a gorgeous girl. Like every year, this was the time for her to get freedom from her routine and go on vacations. She spent her whole year waiting for this time to arrive so that she can fly away like a bird to a new place, exploring and admiring the world. As she approached her parents for the vacations that year, initially, they denied it. But she was adamant and convinced them to allow her to take a vacation in India. Her parents were reluctant at first but then agreed with a lot of terms and conditions.

After many discussions and rejections, they finally agreed and allowed her to go to Kashmir with her friends as she always wanted to visit Jammu and Kashmir. As one of her caretakers was from the valley of Kashmir, she had grown up listening to the stories of scenic Kashmir and fantasying about it as Paradise on Earth. Their whispering for Kashmir kept Sonal's parents suspicious. Sonal knew nature had endowed Kashmir with implausible beauty. Her parents knew she was fascinated by this place. They wanted to accompany her, but she refused as now she wanted to enjoy her life with her friends and needed that privacy. So, they were left with no choice but to permit her. But of course, as parents, they kept the condition that she can only visit Pahalgam and Gulmarg. Srinagar was strictly prohibited from the prevailing conditions of wars and curfews and the tensions between the borders. It took almost more than one month for Sonal to convince her parents and implement her vacations with her friends to Kashmir. They were a group of around five girls.

It was time now, Sonal gathered all her friends and shared the news with them. All were excited to go. It was in advance a well-planned trip with all bookings and reservations. They all decided to go to Gulmarg first. The road trip from the airport to the Resort was one of the most picturesque ones she took in her life. It has majestic mountains on one side and deep valleys on the other side of the road. Wherever she saw was lush green. She saw that the town was finely nestled among Himalayan Peaks. It is known as a photographer's paradise, providing some of the most breathtaking panoramic views of surrounding mountain ranges. They all were excited and glad to see their Resort as it was featuring and had impressive architecture. Mountain peaks were covered with snow, and Resort has warm fire baskets for cold weather. Sonal loved playing in the snow with her friends along with the city tour. It was a pleasurable experience for all of them. The most exciting among their trip was the rides in gondolas and cable a car getting an aerial view of the mountains and valleys. It was not that she was having this experience for the first time, but there was something like an internal and natural pull that she was getting carried away with every single day in the valleys of Kashmir.

Days were passing quickly, and it was just a day, and then they were supposed to travel to Pahalgam. It was around 4 hours' drive. But something was troubling her. She badly wanted to visit Srinagar as this could be the first and last chance for her to visit Kashmir. Moreover, she wanted to search for somebody and give the message her caretaker had given her. Youngblood always has a strong desire to challenge and dare destiny and do what they are prevented and prohibited from doing. So was Sonal.

Along with passing the message, she wanted to see the beautiful parks and visit the famous 'Dal Lake.' She wanted to sit in the Shikara and enjoy the 'Lake of Flowers.' She shared the plan with her friends for visiting Srinagar. Two of them agreed, but the rest two denied it on the spot. They were sceptical, especially with the ongoing border problems with riots and wars. But Sonal was stubborn and, at the same time, firm. The whole evening went on discussing, but there was no outcome. So, while going off for sleep, she decided to go alone without informing anyone.

Morning she got up early and went directly to the manager on duty and asked to arrange a car for herself to Srinagar. As soon as the cab arrived, she escaped from her friends and Resort without leaving a message for anyone. She requested the driver to hurry up. It was hardly a 60 km drive. She thought she would be back by evening after having the day trip to Srinagar. Halfway through, she realized the driver was a handsome Kashmiri Guy. She was amazed to see him. As she observed him, he saw her in the rear mirror, and she shyly looked away. Just before reaching Srinagar, they stopped for a hot cup of tea. There she saw him. He was well built, tall, and handsome. He has a sharp face with a long and slender nose, two big eyes, and like all, Kashmiri's pinkish-white cheeks, fair skin, and light pink lips with silky dark brown hairs. She couldn't take her eyes off him. As they had the tea, a conversation started between them. She inquired about him, on which she was surprised to know he has done his master's. Still, due to the prevailing tension in the town, he was unemployed for a long time, and so for earnings, he started to drive the taxis—getting back in the car, their casual talks continued till they reached mall road Srinagar. They decided to have their breakfast there and then continue for the day trip.

The driver took her to the best restaurant in the town famous for parathas in the morning as breakfast. As they were waiting for their order to arrive, smiles got exchanged along with their names. She liked his name Kabir, and he complimented her on her name 'Sonal.' She came to know about his loss of family in the state's conflict. He was sad to share how people of Kashmir at times suffer unnecessarily and how nobody realizes that it's so tough for the children to live without their parents when they get killed in fires. He was modest, and the well-cultured character was seen in his talk and the way he was presenting himself. Sonal gave him an assurance that she will talk with her father and see if something could be done for his job. He just nodded in return. As Sonal shared her day plan, she said how eager she is to see a houseboat and go to Shikara in Dal Lake. On this, Kabir shared with her that he owns a small boat inherited from his father. After their breakfast, they left for the day trip. Sonal couldn't help herself but keep on praising the beauty of the place on which even Kabir agreed that yes, indeed it's a 'Paradise on Earth.'

In no time, it was past mid-day and time to feast themselves. Cold weather indeed makes one feel hungry. When they went to the restaurant, Kabir was surprised to see the generosity of Sonal. She first fed all the poor kids standing outside the restaurant and then went inside. He was touched. They had their lunch, and as they were starting for the rest of the day, they could hear a loud noise. It was a bomb blast. Kabir's face grew red. He started uttering that the violence had started again. He looked at Sonal with concern. He suggested that they should at once move to a safe place. As he had seen the bloodshed many times and he knew the intensity of the situation. He immediately took Sonal and rushed to his boathouse. He warned that the situation outside might become grave, so they need to be secure till he drops her back to her Resort safe and sound. Going back to Gulmarg in such a situation was dangerous. So, he assured her that he would check the circumstances outside and then drop her back. Sonal was scared and was left with no choice but to agree.

The next few days were agitated in Srinagar as the whole city was on fire. Police and army were seen everywhere, and the city was under curfew, so they had to remain inside the boathouse only. Kabir was taking care of all the chores. He prepared food for her and took good care of her. With passing time and days, Sonal's was getting attracted to Kabir. She had started loving him as his presence made her happy. She started craving his attention. She would rejoice to listen to him and his talks about his life. Kabir was also trying his level best to keep her happy and protect her from his responsibility. Some unknown musical bells would ring in Sonal's heart when Kabir came close to her for serving or any other purpose. As she experienced these emotions for the first time, she didn't know how to express her love. On the other side, Kabir never showed any inclination or interest as such in that way. This was making her uneasy and angry. The city was burning outside, and so was Sonal's heart from inside.

Three days had passed; still, the situation had not improved. Kabir asked her one day about her parents and upbringing. She started to share casually with him but later shared everything. After knowing her upbringing, especially her lifestyle, he said that she should be grateful to God for loving and caring parents and extraordinary destiny. She just smiled. She didn't want to express how tied up she has felt all her life. To change the topic, she asked Kabir about his girlfriend, to which, with a shy smile, he refused, saying he had none. She wanted to know his preference as she has already fallen head to heel in love with him. So, she asked him what sort of girl he would prefer? Without a second thought, he replied he doesn't just want a girlfriend but is looking for a life partner. He prefers a simple girl who would be happy to have him in his life and take care of him and his house. The one who would wait for him to return from his work, should understand, stable yet straightforward. Now turning to Sonal, he replied it's hard to find such a match in this time as it's the 21st century!

While sipping the traditional Kashmiri Pink Tea Sonal in a light but serious tone said to Kabir that she knows someone who is exactly as Kabir has described as what he wants as his life partner. Kabir asked whether it was true? With much love and respect, she said, 'Yes. Kabir asked who? Sonal replied, 'it's 'ME.' He started laughing and told her not to make fun of him. She looked at him with surprise. Confessing that she has fallen for him the day she had seen him for the first time. And by these passing days, he has left an impact on her. He was now listening to her seriously with attention. He then nodded his head in disapproval, explaining to her, there is a vast difference between them both. There is no match at all. He reminded her how she is being brought up like a princess and how his lifestyle is that he doesn't even have proper employment, no surety for the future. Financial safety and security are far away matters. He debated how she has lived her life in a secure environment, and he lives his day in uncertainty with bomb blasts and killings all around. She wasn't ready to listen or understand; she was trying to convince him, stating she would fulfil all his demands. She will be the way he wants her to be. She just wants to be his. Kabir was utterly shocked. He couldn't understand how someone can fall in love so quickly and madly. He was firm with his decision that this is not possible. He just walked away from the room. Sonal cried the whole night, and it was a tough night for her. She was disturbed and shattered. She couldn't think of anything else than this, that how to convince Kabir.

In the same way, Kabir was also in distress. Though he was mature, he did have a heart and was also alone for many years. No doubt Sonal's generosity and her beauty and charm had left a mark on him. Early the following day, like every day when he was going to her room with breakfast, his heart was beating fast. Here when Sonal heard his footsteps, she ran to him and embraced him. A wave of current passed through him. He did try to release himself from her hug, but it was deep and passionate. She said that she was going insane thinking of him and his rejection. Love has its magic. Sonal's hug and plea changed Kabir's mind. He was confused about what to do. But when Sonal hugged him for a longer time, he couldn't hold himself and hugged her back, holding her tight. Finally, both were at peace now. She looked up at him, and he was blushing too. She kissed him on his chest. He was taller than her. He bent down to kiss her forehead; Sonal was so much pleased that she kissed his lips back in return. They had a deep passionate kiss. More than lips, it was souls that were getting united.

Due to the city's tense situation, they had to spend more than a couple of days on the boathouse. These were the best days of Sonal's life and her trip. They were madly in love but never crossed their limits. Most of the time, they have embraced each other, spending the full-time understanding and feeling each other. Both were passionate about each other now. Kabir was happy to have Sonal, but at the same time, he was worried as he was aware of how she was born with a golden spoon. He was always up with the thinking process of how he would earn more and keep her happy and give her a stable life. It took almost a week for the situation to calm down a little and curfew to be lifted.

Meanwhile, on the other side when Sonal's parents came to know that she was missing, they went incredible. Her father created chaos and was angry, while her mother cried almost for a week. He was ready to invest all his wealth, searching for his only daughter and getting her back home safe and sound. Entire police were in search of Sonal along with the police of Kashmir now. They immediately reached the Resort and were pissed off with the manager for arranging a cab for her. No stone was left unturned in searching for Sonal. Here, Kabir decided to take Sonal to Gulmarg and asked her to get ready. Hardly had they stepped out of the boathouse, and police found them. Police wanted to take Sonal into their custody and take her to Gulmarg with her parents, but she refused, stating that she will go with Kabir only. Did police inquire about her harassment from Kabir? She replied, affirming that today if she is safe and sound, it is because of Kabir. Then she asked Kabir to take her to her parents. The drive from Srinagar to Gulmarg was the hardest. They kept quiet all the way. Police vans were protecting them from front and back. Kabir's minds were racing with all the questions and uncertainties they would face henceforth. But Sonal was determined and composed.

When they reached the Resort, Sonal's father was infuriated, but her mother embraced her and inquired about how she was? Her father wanted to shout and scold, but her mother signalled him to stay composed and look at her with love waiting for her reply. She was satisfied to see Sonal alright. Sonal, in return, smiled at her mother, stating if she is safe today, it's because of Kabir and his generosity. She shared how he has taken care of her and protected her in this challenging time. Her parents thanked him, and her father offered him money which he denied, declaring his duty. Sonal's father was forcing Kabir to take the rewards; at that time, Sonal asked Kabir to wait and requested her parents to come aside as she wanted to talk with them. After a few chit chats and whereabouts, Sonal shared with her parents that she loves Kabir and briefed them about him. They were shocked. They, on the spot, rejected the proposal saying this is not possible. They tried explaining how he was middle class and could not look after Sonal and take care of her needs. Sonal was upset with them, and so were they! They tried convincing her, but Sonal was firm. Her father started thinking of taking Sonal from there forever, which Sonal understood—not knowing what to do in that situation before all declared loudly that she was in love with Kabir and had stayed with him in his boathouse as a couple. She tried her level best to convince her parents.

Her parents felt humiliated. With a lot of shame, they declared that they don't know her. They wished she was never born. They said that she does not inherit anything in their 'WILL' and walked away. Sonal, also being stubborn and out of anger and insult, agreed to all their resolutions. She holds Kabir's hand and walks off. Kabir was in shock at his life. Unable to understand or react to anything in that situation. The next day they got married to each other. A few days after, their marriage was the happiest day of their life. They spent most of the time in each other's arms and were enjoying their 'Honeymoon' period. Now there was no stress and nobody to disturb them and their privacy. Kabir was taking care of Sonal in every possible and best way he could keep her happy. On one beautiful night when they were sitting on the terrace of their boathouse watching stars in the sky, Sonal suddenly remembered she had a letter to be handed over to someone for which she had come to Srinagar and completely forgot about it. She shared it with Kabir, on which he assured her that it would be done the following day first thing. Cuddling and teasing, they kissed each other and in no time were making the passionate love.

When he was leaving with the letter to be delivered, he said to Sonal that he should now go back to work and start driving the cab again on which she immediately denied saying she is scared of him going to that same work of driving. On asking her why she innocently said that she is afraid that someone might fall in love with him like she did, and she doesn't want anyone else to fall in love with him and lose him. He laughed at her and asked mockingly, "then should I sit at home only idle, not earning anything for our livelihood?"

He left, and while searching for the address, he found that the letter to whom it was supposed to be delivered passed away a few years back. He handed it to the lady in the house. She called him in and offered him a glass of water. While he was drinking it, she requested him to read it for him as she was uneducated. When he saw her, he felt like I know this older woman but could not remember it. Out of courtesy, he started reading it and stopped in between when he read his mother's name, declaring that she is alive and settled far away. She had been writing continuously for so many years to determine if her husband or son is alive and inform them that she is alive. But letters never reached Srinagar, don't know why! This time she is sending the letter with someone close to her heart to someone close to her heart. Mentioning she misses her childhood friend as much as she misses her family and Kashmir. He was hoping to receive an answer this time for her letter.

Immediately Kabir went into a flashback some 15 years ago, how entire Kashmir was burning out of rage and people had just run away here and there saving their lives, and he had got separated from his parents. Later, they found his father's burned dead body and buried it but could never find her mother's body. This lady was the best friend of her mother. He had tears now flowing from his eyes. The lady, after hearing the letter, hugged him. He left from there and was more confused, as his mother, who was working as a maid for years for the one who is his wife! He decided to meet his mother and get her back as soon as.

Kabir started driving his cab again, and here Sonal was taking care of him and his house and life as he wanted. Same time Kabir was searching for an excellent job. Sonal wanted to learn cooking to impress Kabir as he was a foodie. Most of the time, the food was not up to the mark and at times burned, and she was left behind with minor injuries. Kabir used to stop her saying we will do it together. Don't do it alone as you have never done such work in your life. After a month, when Kabir's birthday, she decided to make the feast and bake the cake and surprise Kabir. Everything was almost done. Just a few dry items were left to be fried. Suddenly, while she was busy frying, her hand hit the pan, and hot burning oil spilt over her hand and body and on the floor. She was burned till the 4th degree. It was just the accident that happened, and Kabir entered the house. He rushed her to the hospital immediately. He couldn't bear to see her in pain. He was upset with her but more with himself and destiny.

Kabir now decided that he must do something to earn big to give Sonal all the comforts of life. While they were sleeping at night, Kabir shared with Sonal about selling his taxi and houseboat and starting a business. He said I know you have been leading a princess life but now have to go through so much struggle and pain because of me. I cannot see you like this. I promise that soon I will earn a lot of money and give you all the comfort in life. She listened to him attentively and replied I always had money. I was happy but not as much as I am today by having you. What I need are your love and care. This makes me complete. But Kabir was in no mood to agree with her. Seeing her injury, he was now firm with his decision. So Sonal finally supported him with his decision.

Within a few days, he initiated his plan and started his new import-export of 'Kashmiri Shawls & Pashmina. His mind was entirely into it. He was working hard to make it successful. In the region, with his hard work and dedication, he was known soon, and his business started doing well. More of his time was dedicated to his business now. Within six months, he expanded his business to nearby states. Soon he had branches in other cities, and his travelling time also had increased due to it. He was working hard day and night. Tough time started for both of them as Sonal started feeling lonely. He worked hard to keep Sonal happy, but Sonal was becoming more affected by his absence and stayed disappointed. He had no idea of what Sonal was going through. He usually returned late at night when he was in town, and most of the time, he was out of the town on business trips. Almost a year had passed. Kabir had grown with his business and status.

He was so occupied that he forgot his first anniversary. Sonal tried to remind him, but he paid no attention. She felt offended. Still, for their love, she tried her best to arrange a surprise for him. She got ready like a newlywed bride and arranged all his favourite cuisine. She decorated the entire house with flowers and candles. She changed the complete interior of the house. She used to keep herself occupied by doing such stuff only, but this didn't give her peace. It was the activities that helped her kill time in the absence of Kabir. Today she had spent her entire day planning the surprise for him and implementing it. Kabir came home late at night. He was so exhausted that he hardly noticed any décor. He declared that his dinner was done out on a business meeting with clients and wanted to sleep.

When he went to his bedroom, he saw a bouquet of roses with a card. When he read the card, he remembered today was their anniversary, and he had utterly forgotten it. He rushed down to her, pulled her, kissed her, and wished her 'Happy Anniversary.' Sonal was upset. She couldn't reciprocate. Still, she gave in for him and the day. They went to bed, and Kabir slept immediately. Sonal stayed awake, remembering their initial days how they had nothing but love, and today they have everything but no time to love. She misses how Kabir used to make her sleep first on his arms and slept once she was in her deep sleep.

Kabir, year after year, become a successful businessman. He had a lot of people now working under him and for him. As said, success and money come with a lot of stress and hidden tensions. It's also not easy to maintain after earning. He stayed swamped now. In 3rd year, after receiving the best businessman award, his photo was published on the cover page as a young business tycoon in the country. Sonal's parents were thrilled and ashamed of themselves thinking of him as low class and not trusting their daughters' choice and capabilities. They were impressed to see Kabir progress from rag to riches.

After receiving the award and getting featured on the magazine's cover page, Kabir arranged a private party for Sonal. He said that his success was due to her and for her! She deserved the celebration more than himself. He took her to a beautiful, fully booked resort for themselves. He had especially got the presidential suite ready for her. Sonal was surprised. It was after so many years they were going to spend time with each other. She had grown pale and weak missing Kabir. After a long time, her heart was happy today. The Lakeside arranged their table for dinner, with drapes and music won her heart. They had a dance and then had their dinner. Spend time talking to each other, and then Kabir in his arms took Sonal to their suite. The room was filled with the aroma of scented candles and petals of flowers. He gently placed her on the bed. She couldn't believe that all this was happening once again in real life. She had her Kabir all by her side. He gently pulled her scarf. She blushed. Holding her hands, he placed a diamond ring on her finger and kissed it. Gradually he bends down to kiss her neck and put a diamond necklace on her neck. She was overjoyed. It was not diamonds making her happy, but it was her Kabir with her giving her pleasure. He slowly but lovingly started to kiss her all over. She said he is the precious jewel she has, and she never wants to lose it. He then kissed her on her ears and placed earrings there. Making her lay down on the bed, he slowly moved to her wrist and tied a sparkling bracelet there. One cloth from her body was taken off and was placed with one piece of jewellery. It was a magical moment for both. Slowly he moved down, kissed her, and placed an anklet on her toes. Just then, he sprayed chocolate and strawberry over her and started licking it and right from the forehead, moving down to nose, lips, necks, and tickling her around on her waist. She was with her Kabir; the Kabir who loved her so much was with her after so many years. As they were getting drowned in their love, Kabir's phone rang. He ignored it twice, but as it was ringing continuously, he had to stop his lovemaking in between and take the phone though he was reluctant to pick it.

Suddenly his facial expression changed. While talking on the phone, he started getting dressed up. After hanging the phone, he apologized to Sonal and told her he had to leave immediately as some emergency had occurred. He will have to leave for Delhi immediately. He said sorry to her and said, " Stay back, and the driver will take you home tomorrow morning." In the middle of the night, leaving her alone, in such condition, he left. Sonal, again being depressed, cried the entire night. She never wanted this life. No doubt Kabir gave her all that he had promised. A Palace to live with all servants around. Their garage was filled with the latest model expensive cars. He gave Sonal everything but took away his time and their moments. He took away her happiness, her smile, running behind, earning lots of money to keep her happy. He hardly noticed how depressed Sonal was staying now. Her health was deteriorating now due to a lack of attention, care, and concern. She started getting depression attacks. She was not able to sleep for days. Her mental, as well as her physical health, had gotten affected. One day when Kabir returned from office, he saw Sonal lying on the ground unconscious. He immediately rushed her to the Doctor. The Doctor said she has gone too weak and needs to be kept under observation and supervision.

Doc informed Kabir she was suffering from panic attacks and is under high depression. After her few sessions Doc informed Kabir that she is longing for his love, care, and attention. Only he can heal her. He understood and promised Dr that he would take care of her and take her home. Whenever he was in the town, he started coming home early, having meals with her, and giving her medicines by his hands. But whenever he was out of town, Sonal skipped the medications. On asking, she would reply that she forgot. As Kabir still had to travel a lot, not much improvement was seen in Sonal's health.

A few more months passed, and now Sonal was drowned entirely in her depression. She had gone completely silent and at times violent. She had lost her beauty and charm completely. One day when Kabir was in his business meeting in Mumbai, he received a call. After hearing the call, the mobile just dropped from his hands. He rushed back home on the first flight. He saw the whole house was a mess. Servants informed him that as Sonal had gotten the attack, she threw everything away and hurt herself. They had to call the hospital for an emergency. The Doctor gave Sonal a high dose of injection and made her sleep. She has reached the last stage of her depression, and wherein now she wanted to take her life away. The Doctor informed Kabir that Sonal needs to be sent to an asylum for treatment now. If she stays here, she would be a danger to herself and the people around her. It was now that Kabir realized how far he had gone from Sonal. He hugged her and wept like a baby.

Just then, he found the 'Suicide Letter.' Sonal had written to him:

Kabir,

I don't know whether to write to my loving husband Kabir or not, as now you are no more the person I had loved and got married to. Each passing day is making me miss you more and more. I long for your time, your care, your love. I wait for you to come home and talk with me, spend time with me, but you have gone away, far away. I kept telling you, and I don't want money or luxuries in life; all I wanted is you. Today, by earning all luxuries for me, you have made me alone. I can't take this anymore! I am going forever! And along with me, I am taking away our first child.

Goodbye'

Sonal.

Kabir didn't know what to do! Just as the Doctor called and informed Kabir, Sonal's medical reports came. She had taken an overdose of her pills and, she had a miscarriage. They need to shift her to asylum, so an ambulance is on the way. Kabir now saw towards her Sonal. How pathetic she looked. He thought about what he would do if he didn't have his Sonal with him! He already lost the child and was so unfortunate that he couldn't even get the news also. He couldn't bear to see his Sonal lying there on the bed like a corpse. He was now completely shattered. He called his manager immediately and asked him to get his houseboat ready, which he had bought and was planning to gift Sonal this year on their anniversary. He told him to make the papers ready; I will be a sleeping partner. I want my time with my life, my wife now! I want her back in my life. I can't imagine living without her.

Kabir convinced Dr and took his permission with all prescribed medication, and took Sonal back to the houseboat in Kashmir. He also called his mother and asked her to reach Srinagar as they need her badly, especially Sonal, for her recovery and stability. She denied coming with him, stating that Sonal is the daughter of the people who had given her shelter when she was devasted, and now seeing them shattered, she can't leave them and go. Moreover, she didn't want them to get humiliated knowing Sonal has married the son of their maid! Also, she requested him not to share this with Sonal. He, with a heavy heart, had to agree.

After two days, when Sonal became conscious, she found herself on the houseboat. She couldn't recognize or remember anything that happened a couple of days ago. But slowly and steadily, Kabir's love and care started showing magic. She started recovering.

Just then I felt a hand on my shoulder, I turned from my chair, and my darling took the letter from my hand asking me, again sitting with this letter? Why don't you discard it? I smiled and said, this is the mirror of my life, my reality! Today I am what I am because of this letter! Leave it with me in my custody. I don't want to forget how I was blessed to have you in my life and how I made you suffer. I am responsible for your condition today. I am living now, waiting for the day when you will trust and love me like before and complete our family again.
