Mortals VS Gods

The battle between the Destroyer God and mortals shattered the core of the planet. This interspecies battle will decide the fate of Earth-676.

Akku, the God of Destruction took a deep breath before letting out his sonic shout on a weakened Apollo who is considered the saviour of the planet. Before the sonic shout reached Apollo, from the sky came young Icarus with wings of fire, just in time to rescue his father from the Destroyer. Icarus spread his long wings to defend them from the sonic shout. The thickly grown wings absorbed the impact.

“So Apollo, is this the boy in the legend?”, asked the God. Apollo smiled in return. 

“Alright! Let’s see what he can do!”, said Akku after which he charged at Icarus at full speed. With the newly discovered ability, Icarus turned incorporeal (switched the body to non-material) and Akku went straight through the body. 

“Well kid, it seems like you do have a few tricks up your sleeve but that won’t protect you for long!”

Akku tried again, this time with much higher speed but the Destruction God could not catch Icarus. 

With veins popping from his forehead and enclosed fist Akku suddenly realised something. He closed his eyes and opened it back after a moment. He pretended to breathe in to give out his sonic shout. Icarus turned back to corporeal and defended himself using his wings. Akku quickly jumped, caught the wings of Icarus and tore a piece of it apart from his body. Icarus quickly became incorporeal and understood the trick used by God. Akku then proceeded to attack Apollo when Icarus charged at the God and turned corporeal to protect his father with the wings. Akku took the opportunity to land a few direct blows at Icarus and knocked him out. 

Apollo slowly stood up and taunted God. Akku charged towards Apollo who himself turned incorporeal. 

“Where did you think my son got the ability from?”, asked the hero and started to sprint towards God. 

Akku launched a huge energy blast at Apollo who easily absorbed the energy and started on his offence. Akku easily dodged the attacks and started to throw punches in return but the God could not connect any of them. Icarus woke up after a moment and flew towards God. Father and son duo was too much for God and he retreated from the planet vowing to come back one day to finish his job of destruction.
